On the first half of the 2nd set, with Sugawara on the court, Karasuno seems to be able to catch up with Seijo. Maintaining only a point difference from each other, but it became harder to score points since the second half started.
Oikawa set the ball to Iwaizumi with Sugawara immediately trying to block him but with Suga being on the small stature, failed to do so. Earning Seijo a score to tie with Karasuno.
"Tch" Sugawara 'tch' in annoyance. He can feel that Seijo's blockers have been targeting him.
Another spike came from Seijo with Nishinoya immediately receiving it towards the setter. With the ball landing towards him, Suga toss it towards the fast approaching orange head, spiking it but being completely block by Kindaichi. Earning Seijo a two points in a row
Sugawara is feeling it. The stress and pressure that comes when you play with stronger opponents, although he's strangely calm but it doesn't mean that he will magically get stronger, at most he can only give his best to support the team.
Seeing that the game is no longer in their advantage, the coach decided to call the attention of the two.
"Ah, it looks like #9 and that #13 have been called." One of the audience commented. Noticing that Kageyama and Lei are jogging towards their coach.
"It looks like their changing setter. But what about that #13? What can he do?" They already know that Kageyama is the official setter but they haven't seen the girly boy play yet. Making them curious on what he can do, especially when their opponent is Seijo.
"Tch, it looks like he's finally out. That girly-chan." Oikawa smirk as he look at the pretty boy with Kageyama on his tail. Both being subbed in at the same time.
With Kageyama and Lei finally on the court, the team can now unleash all their weapon. A complete comeback, that only made possible with the help of the 3rd year setter, can finally happen.
Although being just subbed in, Kageyama start off with a powerful serve, with the libero of the other team failing to receive it.
Earning them the score they needed to tie them up with Seijo.
After the whistle blows, Kageyama serve again and although Matsukawa manage to receive it but its too long and can only be a chance ball to Karasuno.
Kageyama didn't let the opportunity slip away. After Nishinoya receive it, Kageyama immediately toss it to Hinata and performing their signature quick attack.
Taking their opponents in surprise as the two didn't use the signal they use in the first set.
"Hey! Tobio, toss to me too!" Childishly whine the small strawberry blonde hair boy. He have been on the court at the same time as Kageyama but he still haven't got the chance to even touch the ball yet.
"Ah- Hai." Kageyama smirk as he agreed. It is finally the time to take the lead from Seijo, because the 2nd set would be theirs to take.
As Nishinoya receive the ball, Lei is immediately running towards the net catching their opponents off guard as he jump high and spike the ball towards the end line. Although Seijo's libero manage to react and tried to receive it with arms outstretched but it spins in his wrist and bounce off on the wall. Scoring another point to Karasuno.
"Yoshh!!"
"Nice Lei-chan!!"
"Tch."
Karasuno may be celebrating but it is the opposite with Seijo. They can feel the stress coming back in two folds. They don't only have to deal their #10 but also their #13.
It looks like all shrimpy from Karasuno are troublesome.
The game continued with Karasuno ransaking up points from Seijo, until they have no choice but to call for a time out, to temporarily stop Karasuno's momentum.
And with this time out, Seijo realize the weakness of their opponent. Their lack of trust and communication or more precisely, Kageyama and Tsukkishima's lack of trust and communication with each other.
The two don't really get along and Seijo used it to their advantage to turn the game around and finally they are able to catch up with the growing lead of the opposing team.
Feeling like the momentum is being snatched away from them. Karasuno called for a time out, taking this time to regain their momentum back.
Kageyama albeit reluctant, tried to talk with Tsukkishima and ask for his opinion to his set. Although their interaction might not be the best but the team finally sigh in relief, it looks like their relationship is starting to get better.
"Tweeet!!"
With the blow of the whistle, the time out ends and both team walking back to the court. Only one thing on their mind, to win this set.
"Yosh! Let's take this set!"
"Hai!"
Its finally Karasuno's set point, one more point and they can finally own this set. But that possitive thingking is put on a stop when Iwaizumi spike the ball hard, destroying the two blockers that tried to stop him and scoring them a point.
If Aoba Josai score again it would be a deuce and they can't afford to have that.
But luck can't be any kinder.
It's Oikawa's turn to serve.
Oikawa stood seriously at the serving line. He have to take risk.
As Oikawa toss the ball, he jump and serve it with full force at the end of the line. Nishinoya immediately reacted and receive it. Only a few centimeters more and it would be an out.
With the receive being too long, it became a chance ball for Seijo.
The receive is good and the setter can easily receive it, he might set it to the center. Tsukkishima thought as he get ready to block but Kageyama grasp the back of his shirt, stopping him on his jump.
Kageyama knows that when it comes to worse situation, Oikawa would always set for Iwaizumi as he have full trust in him to overcome it.
And they use it to their advantage, Tsukkishima and Kageyama completely block Iwaizumi's spike. Scoring them the final score they need to win this match.
"WAHHHHH!!"
Karasuno cheered as they celebrate their win, like they already won the game.
But as Karasuno cheered for their win. A certain strawberry blonde haired boy is left standing on the court.
Lei's glad that they won the set but-
"I felt useless. They can win this set even without me." Lei thought as he look at his team as they celebrate.
He only scored a point when he is subbed in but other than that, nothing more. His only used is a distraction to the other team.
"Tsk, I really hate this feeling." Lei coil his fist tightly, almost making the skin bleed when his nails pierce his skin.
Hinata smile as he cheered around his teammates. He looks around for Lei, wanting to celebrate with him when he notice that he is not besides him but on the bench with his head facing down.
"Hey Lei-chan! You okay?" Hinata cheerfully asked. As he sat down on the bench besides his friend.
Lei didn't respond immediately. Keeping his head downwards for a few second before he tilt his head up. A bright smile on his lips, making the orange head sigh in relief.
"It looks like his okay. Got me worried for a second."
"Yup! Why won't I be? We won remember. You dumbass." Lei grin as he look at his friend, a teasing glint in his eyes.
"Hey! Don't pick up words from that Kageyama!" Hinata whine as he pouted at the taller (than him) male.
Lei only laugh as a respond as they playfully bantet with each other.
The earlier ominous feeling, fading away like it never happen.

It's finally the 3rd set, with Seijo on the lead with a point difference.
Kageyama set the ball to Hinata, with Kindaichi blocking it but the ball slip pass his fingers and making it a chance ball for them. Its like a never ending rally as the opponent have been able to catch up to Hinata's normal quick.
But it change as Asahi spike the ball pass the blockers with Oikawa diviing in to receive it.
Karasuno thought that it would already be spike by them but they are proven wrong when Seijo's libero, set it towards Oikawa and him spiking it to Karasuno's court. Scoring them another point.
Lei was finally rotated to the back line, making Seijo slighty sigh in relief.
Both Karasuno's chibi spiker are the most troublesome when they run wild on the front line but that pretty boy is equally troublesome when his up to serve, giving them a headache on how to deal with it.
"Yosh~ Calm down." Oikawa clap his hands to gain his teammates attention, making them look at him.
"Don't forget what we talk about. Okay.~" Oikawa continued as he cheerfully smile on his teammates. Making them nod in determination.
"Osu!"
Lei took a few step backwards as he wait for the whistle to blow.
He inhale and exhale slowly, relaxing his muscles as he get ready to serve. Lei toss the ball high up as he run and jump to serve it towards the end line of the opposite court.
Making the libero flinch with its intensity and delaying him from receiving it.
"Sorry!" Watari shouted as he look at the boy who just serve it like its nothing.
He's honestly annoyed with the boy's serve while he's there, having the hardest time of his life receiving it, the boy have been serving it like its nothing. It won't even be an understatement to say that it's one of the hardest serve he have ever received yet. But-
"Tsk. How can we even stop his serve!" Kindaichi exclaimed, annoyed.
Seijo is in the middle of their time out to temporarily stop the momentum of that kid's serve. They have no choice or else they would be eaten whole by that boy if they let him continue.
"Calm down. Their is no point panicking over it." Oikawa stated seriously. As they form a semi circle around him.
"Always remember that their is no serve that is impossible to receive. We just have to work together." Oikawa continued as he wipe his sweat out of his face. That girly-chan's serve is taking a toll in their mentality.
"B-But how? Even if our timing is perfect it would always spin to impossible direction-"
"The spin." Oikawa cut his teammates rumbled as he muttered those words.
"Huh? Talk clearly, you trash." Iwaizumi said. Irritated with him delaying his words.
Oikaw didn't pay attention to his friend's insult as he continued.
"The spin is the reason why it's almost impossible to receive it, right? Then will just have to predict and be around the area where the spine would likely go to. Although it may likely be a chance ball for them but the important thing is that we receive it and~" Oikawa cut his own words as he wriggle his two fingers, making Iwaizumi pissed off with his immature antics.
"We might even break girly-chan when he realize that we can receive his serve. Ahh~ how cute that face can be~" Oikawa put his two hands on his blushing face.
"Oi! Stop that! You're being creepy."
Oikawa didn't mind the insult as he continue what he was saying.
"And besides he mostly target the end line. So, Watari-" Oikawa point his finger towards their libero. "Make sure to receive it and we will be their to follow up."
"Hai!"
"I just have to be able to receive it and they would do the rest." Watari thought. Determine to receive it. He didn't get the chance to receive it as his last serve hit the net.
Watari took a step back as Lei prepared to serve the ball again.
"Oikawa's right, he mostly target the end lane." Watari dive down to receive the ball but it spin fast on his arms for a second before it shot to the right. He almost cursed when the ball shift towards that direction but luckily Kunimi is there, as it bounce off his elbow. Making the ball go up and losing its crazy spin.
"Yes!" Seijo cheered as the ball finally went up, albeit a bit low but more than enough for them to receive it to Karasuno.
Although a set and spike is no longer allowed (as the ball can only be touch 3 times when the ball is in play and they already used 2 just for receiving it.) But it is more than enough to surprise and put pressure on them.
Not expecting that Seijo would be able to receive Lei's serve, they got a bit delayed in receiving it but Luckily Nishinoya manage to, although a bit low.
"Sorry! Cover!"
"Hai!"
Kageyama set the ball to Tanaka but with 3 blockers, blocking him, it landed towards their court.
Earning Seijo a score and with Lei finally being sub out.
".... How useless.."
