"You have a gun?" he asked directly, without greeting her or whatsoever. Those were the first words spoken by Jayden once the communication between the two of them got back to work.
"One gun." Apple remembered the gun she had, but now it was in the room where the kids were being held, because it was in the jacket she left in there. She had to go back into the room to get it.
"Go up to the deck of the ship, I'll be there in two minutes." It was a hasty order and Apple didn't have much time to question it.
"What?" Apple frowned, but then she followed what she was told and immediately rushed out of the room, but before that, Apple took the time to kick the leg of the man she was holding captive. "I'll be upstairs in five minutes."
It took Apple about three minutes to go back into the room where the children were being held and retrieve her jacket, inside which she found the gun and knife.
