*Xavier's POV*
To say I was terrified would be an understatement while we waited for any news then when Haven finally came out we rushed over to her asking about Taylor, I knew of some of her injuries but that didn't mean it didn't hurt hearing about them. Haven told us about the scars on her abdomen being opened up again I just closed my eyes, she told us that not only by giving Taylor the medication as soon as we found her counteracted the Nimbex but it also prevented future complications due to it so we were relieved with hearing that although I wasn't prepared for what she said next regarding the vaginal tearing but she also has some internal tearing/scarring.
I was confused upon hearing this not knowing exactly what that meant until I heard David asking the same question that I was just thinking but when he asked about Taylor not being to have children, I just couldn't help tearing up although regardless if she can or not that will not change how I feel about her in the slightest bit. The Dr. gave us a little hope by telling us that she'll be monitoring Taylor along with saying that she may make a full recovery where there won't be any scarring to hinder any thoughts of having children in the future.
I was already expecting David to want to see Taylor first so I waited patiently and looked at my parents who had been crying as well, my mom was trying to comfort me saying that Taylor will make a full recovery so we just have to hope for the very best & that she's in great hands which I agree before they gave me a huge hug then Nikki joined in crying too again saying how sorry she was.
I know she feels horrible about what she did so I told her that it will take a while but we'll be alright at which point she surprised me by telling us that "she is extremely strong & I believe you Luna that she'll fully heal, I can feel it." She also said that she'll do whatever it takes to help in her recovery in any way she can and that she just wants to prove how sorry she is.
After David & Sam left my parents were the next to visit so as they entered her room I just sat here going over everything that happened which made me angry but then I thought about getting to take some of my anger out on Nick when we pay him a visit in the cells, we made sure he was in the cell that we use for the extremely dangerous wolves/rouges so he'll be secluded from everyone and I have no problems with Taylor's father, Alex as well as Sam having a few minutes alone with that scum of the earth because I know I'm looking forward to it.
When my parents came back out with tears glistening in their eyes with a sad look on their face before they gave me a hug while telling me that it'll take awhile but everything will be ok then left. I glanced over at Nikki silently asking if she was ready to go visit Taylor where she just gave me a slight nod before heading into her room.
As soon as we walked in we both ran to the bed, Nikki just kept saying how sorry she was about everything & promised that she'll do whatever she can to help her which brought tears to Taylor's eyes. She told Nikki that she knows and it wasn't completely her fault so she doesn't blame her at all, she also told her that she'd really like to become friends with her. This time Nikki had tears threatening to be released so both Taylor & I gave her a hug then we sat there talking about anything and everything until it was getting late and Nikki had to head home.
Once she left I sat there holding her hand I then looked at her asking her how she was feeling which she just started crying before glancing over to me saying "I'm so sorry Xavier, that you had to end up with a mate like me! I think you should find another mate that can give you something that I may never be able to" while looking down at her lap before continuing with "since I'm sure the doctor told you that it's more than likely that I won't be able to give you any children."
I couldn't believe that she thinks that's all I want! I looked at her to tell her "Taylor I love you no matter what, I don't care if we can't have our own children or not & I don't want anyone else, Haven said that there's a chance that you may not be able to have any but she also said that you could make a full recovery where there won't be any scars. That's something we don't have to worry about now anyway and if the time comes where it turns out we can't then we can always adopt but regardless I can't picture my life without you so I don't want you to stress about that now ok."
I leaned down to give her a gentle kiss then I went to sit down but she stopped me to pat the bed next to her, so I looked over at her asking if she was sure & when she nodded I said ok before climbing in bed to snuggle with her while I put my face in the crook of her neck to breathe in her scent which instantly calms me down.
I woke up later on while a nurse came in to check on Taylor then gave me a small smile before leaving the room at which point I held her closer then fell back to sleep until Taylor's screams woke me up panicking looking for some kind of danger when I noticed she was having a nightmare so I gently shook her telling her that I was here & that it was ok she was safe. It took a few minutes for her to calm down enough to sleep peacefully as I just stroked her hair then when she opened her eyes, she looked at me telling me sorry which I told her that she didn't have anything to apologize for before falling back to sleep.
I took the next few days off of school which of course everyone understood but Taylor had argued with me about taking any more days off & that I should go to school since we're supposed to be graduating this year, she said that she doesn't want me to fall too far behind with my work along with reassuring me that she would be alright and if I wanted I could come back to visit to do my homework with her which I reluctantly agreed.
After my visit with her today I had gone home to get everything ready for school, it still surprises me that with everything that she's gone through she still thinks about others no matter what and this just proves it with me going to school. I absolutely love this girl with all my heart & I'm not going to worry about the whole kid thing, like I told her we can always adopt. I made a mental note to make sure I talk to all of Taylor's missing work so she can get caught up too especially since she's supposed to be graduating as well and with everything that's happened I would love nothing more than to walk the stage getting our diplomas together.
I don't know what I would do without her & I pray to the Moon Goddess that I'll never have to find out.I guess I didn't even realize how tired I really was because I was out like a light as soon as my head hit the pillow into a dreamless sleep… well that's what I thought anyway.
