*Taylor's POV*
Xavier & I walked back to the pack house after he mindlinked a warrior to dispose of the rouge's body telling him what happened. Of course as soon as we walked in the door his parent's came rushing to the door to make sure we were alright, also letting them know what happened then saying that we had something to tell them privately and from the looks on our faces they knew it was either serious or important so they lead us to the office since it was large as well as soundproof.
Once there & making sure the door was locked to prevent anyone from just walking in we all sat down on the couch and chairs, I took a deep breath to ease my nervousness as Xavier notices then he squeezes my hand for encouragement, well here we go. I started by telling them about my dream while I was in the coma as well as about the prophecy, in which they just looked at each other before looking back at us, I'm guessing not sure if it's true or not but still willing to listen although something tells me that maybe they were expecting something rather extraordinary.
I told them exactly what happened in the woods after confronting the rogue then with me shifting as well as my magic, by the look on their faces we could tell that they believed part of it but was a little skeptical so I told them the best thing is for me to show them. First I took off my pendant that way they could sense a change then I very carefully used my powers so I didn't scare or hurt them, I could tell they were in shock from the looks on their faces and thankfully they seemed to not be afraid of me in any way which I was very relieved.
Finally Xavier & I stood up as he moved the chairs out of the way to give me more room before shifting into my midnight blue wolf when I suddenly heard them gasp with what looked like admiration and pride in their eyes. As soon as I shifted back we told them about what Adelaine & Annalise said about only telling the ones we trust the most so nothing can be said to anyone because it could put us ALL at risk, they both nodded agreeing then gave me a big hug with a smile and tears in their eyes saying that they had a feeling that I was special but didn't know to what extent.
When finished we headed to the game room to watch some movies before getting everything ready for school tomorrow, he let me pick the movie so I chose "The Expendables" since I haven't seen it and wanted to but about three quarters into it I fell asleep in which I'm guessing Xavier carried me to bed. I woke up with a start screaming soaking wet from sweat frantically looking around realizing I'm in my bed when my bedroom door slams open I turned & saw a very scared looking Xavier at my bedroom door ready for a fight thinking I was in danger, once he sees that there isn't a threat he ran over to me to make sure I was alright at which point I told him that I was fine I just had a nightmare of the day of the attack but this time everyone from my previous pack were watching then laughing at me.
He reassures me that it was only a nightmare while rubbing my back making me feel better so after a while when my heart rate finally got back to normal again he waited a few more minutes then stands up kissed my forehead and turned to go back to bed but before he started to walk away I grabbed his arm to ask him to stay seeing as he makes me feel safe when I'm around him. With no hesitation he sits back down asking if I'm sure before climbing in bed to spoon against my back while covering us up with the blanket, I sighed feeling at ease & complete then I fell back into a dreamless sleep which I was grateful for.
