*David's POV*
I've been trying to keep Sebastian under control since the attack especially around Nick although I was happy when Alex asked Nick for help with training some of the younger pups which worked like a charm by not raising suspicions then he told me the days & times so I've been biding my time waiting a couple days.
I woke up this morning determined to see something in Nick's room, while he was training I went into his room not finding anything out in the open before searching through his things but started to get discouraged until I caught a small bag on the floor behind his desk, I grabbed then opened it where I found a small bottle with only about a quarter of liquid left in it and reading the label it says Nimbex along with a few unused needles, I quickly made sure everything was in the same place then left.
I rushed back to my room first to hide the evidence then grab my laptop to search for any information on what this drug is, it came up right away as I read it I was livid while asking myself "How the f**k did he get a hold of this?" It states that it's a neuromuscular-blocking agent used as general anesthesia, administering 0.15 mg will keep the body still for 43 minutes during surgery but also relaxes the throat to make a breathing tube easier to be inserted.
After reading this I bookmarked it, l mindlinked Alex to have him meet me in his office as soon as he can before I took out the bag to look at the syringe for what it said the dosage would be & I was shocked seeing as it was a small dose then looked at the bottle and figured that he must have injected her with most of the bottle.
When Alex mindlinked telling me he was in the office, I took the bag and laptop straight to him. As soon as he saw me he got up to lock the door since it was sound-proof nobody would be able to listen in. We both sat down before I showed him the bag then I opened my laptop so he can read the information I found then he looked at me with his black eyes knowing his wolf was ready to kill, once he calmed down we talked about what we're gonna do next which he said "I think we should wait until we have the results from the syringe you found since it's most likely the same medication/drug", I agreed then gave him the bag for safe keeping.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door, I walked over to open the door to see Sam standing there so I moved to let him by & close the door, to say I was shocked was an understatement he thanked me for helping Taylor. After his little speech I fessed up with my role and that I was waiting for my punishment when Alex tells me that it's not necessary which took me by surprise then we let Sam know what was going on as well as our suspicions that we're just waiting for the results then he left.
Next we talked about pack stuff before the phone rang startling us hoping it's what we've been waiting for so he answered, as he was listening he looked at me nodding his head then asked if it can be faxed right over which the person agreed before hanging up then I remembered that I needed to call Xavier's pack doctor about what she found.
I called right away surprised that she answered on the first ring, I asked her "You wouldn't happen to have the results from testing what was in Taylor's system?" Thankfully she had just gotten the results this morning then told me what she found, "can you fax over the results to me" I asked and told me she'll do it right now before hanging up.
When I looked at Alex I knew my eyes were black with Sebastian saying "let me out he hurt our pup" then I reminded him he will definitely get his chance but we have to be patient. Suddenly the fax brought me out of my thoughts as we waited for it to finish before it went off again knowing they're both coming in now...thankfully.
As soon as it was done we each grabbed a paper so I read mine which now I got confirmation on what was inside the syringe that it was indeed Nimbex, I waited until Alex read the other one before switching so he can read the paper I had & vice versa but what I read was the same from the other paper.
Looking up at Alex confirming that it was indeed what was found inside the needle as well as what Taylor had in her system, now having all of the evidence we can now go to the elders to make sure that there won't be any repercussions of the punishment of death. Alex got a hold of them to set up a meeting which will be held in a couple days so we just have to hang tight until then while thinking that Taylor will finally get justice for what was done to her.
