*David's POV*
I was out patrolling the borders on the opposite side of the land when a very frantic warrior mindlinked me about an emergency with someone at the pack house and he thinks it had something to do with Taylor but couldn't be sure. Since I was too far away to just run I shifted into my wolf and ran as fast as I could not caring if I destroyed my clothes, all the while wondering what happened.
Once I got there I quickly shifted back and grabbed a pair of shorts a warrior handed me where he told me that he's not sure exactly what happened but there's something you need to see. As I walk in the house heading towards the basement where a couple warriors are standing when I catch her scent along with blood & something else I can't pinpoint so I rushed downstairs.
Right away I see Alpha Alex at the bottom of the stairs, he grabs my shoulders trying to brace me telling me she's missing before I look around where I see Taylor's blood on the mattress, her shredded clothes on the floor including her undergarments, I could feel my wolf "Sebastian" trying to take control as I search around for more clues as to what happened here when I notice something somewhat hidden behind the stairs that I would've missed if it didn't catch the light.
I walked over to pick it up when I realized what it was, I turned around while yelling where did this come from. I want the contents tested immediately, Alex curiously looks at me silently asking what's going on then I proceed to tell him about the mystery scent I caught at the top of the stairs with Taylor's blood.
His eyes got soo big and turned black that told me he was pissed, we talked about the fact that whoever did this may or may not be from our pack so it may be wise to have it tested by an outside source then we decided that was the best plan of action along with not telling anyone about we found otherwise the person responsible will try to or destroy the evidence & we can't take that chance.
I was also told that the Alpha, Luna, their son and a few warriors of the Blood Stone pack are the ones that took or rather saved Taylor so alpha Alex gave me the number, I'll call them in just a little bit seeing as I want to calm down first.
Once everyone left I headed upstairs to my room when I suddenly caught a familiar scent...Nick, that's when it hit me because it was the same scent from Taylor's room but I didn't really think anything about it at the time. I walked into my room and sat on the bed thinking about how I'm gonna catch the bastard that did this to my little girl, I'll ask alpha Alex if he could make sure Nick gets some extra training or duties away from the house at the same time not making it obvious that I suspect him in order to check out his room.
I couldn't stop the tears from coming as I thought about what happened to her, I'm ashamed at myself with how I failed her as a father & protector, I pushed her away and abused her. Becca would hate me for taking everything out on our little girl and she would have every right to blame me, I'm sorry my sweet daughter.
I started praying to the moon goddess "please forgive me, I promise with all that I am that I WILL change my ways from this day forth and try my hardest to make it up to her, if she needs time I will give it to her just please let her be alright, I can't lose my daughter too. I even plan on talking to Alpha Alex regarding my treatment of her and accept whatever punishment he deems appropriate.
