Unlike his husband's response, Lady Kate looked shocked to hear George's words. She glared sharply at her son. Never in her mind, she expected George would say such a nonsense remark. She didn't believe her ear. She wanted to stand up and convince her ear by asking George about it again, but her husband held her wrist to stay still. She then sat back in her seat waiting for the next explanation.
George swallowed hard his saliva, seeing his mother's sharp gaze towards him. Her eyes were like a dagger pierced his heart made him wanted to disappear at once. He needed more energy to try to make his mother's hard heart which was like steel.
However, the calm aura shown by his father made him relieved, at least his father didn't seem to refuse his wish.
"Just talk, son." The voice of his father broke his chaotic thoughts. He then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
