It was December 31 2020, everyone was waiting for New Year's Day, but whilst we were all preparing for the end of this crap year an even worse year was brewing. The immanent danger grew ever closer, people all around the world were counting down to this threat but not even they knew this. The counting drew ever closer as a roar of numbers were screamed out by those trying to distract themselves from their own miserable lives, the numbers were meaningless but these people understood what they meant "5!" They all screamed before yelling "4!" Even more enthusiastically, but this was a chain reaction of numbers followed by people bellowing "3! 2! 1!" This was followed by only screams but instead of the previous glee this ear piercing scream was of fear, from the portals that were taking people rapidly.

The world quietened but as time passed those that had been taken by the portals had returned each person having been changed they were stronger, faster and had different abilities but things wouldn't calm themselves. Every 2 months portals would take more people and by 2022 there was an army and just in time because they were needed, for the true threat had just arrived in the form of different portals, but these portals didn't have a serine blue coloration these portals are a mischievous and evil red. This time the portals weren't omnipotent however what lay within definitely were, as these appeared people tried entering them only to never return, but as they were only normal people they sent in a team of Portaled, (those with powers granted by the portals) to investigate, when they returned they had said beasts laid within and 3 of the 6 were killed by the toughest beast they called the boss.

Skip 10 years and I am 16, old enough to test for the portaled this is my story.
