Rain's legs swung in the air and she cackled loudly. Making them go to and fro as the swing went up, she could feel the soothing breeze in her hair. The long black hair, flying along with wind, a strand which was a little shorter than others, due to the bangs she had a couple of months ago, was falling over her eyes every time the swing would go up.
Her father, sitting on the lawn chair, his work laptop in his hand.
"Higher, Mom" Rain giggled again, looking back at her Mom, whose smile reflected Rains. There was something about the little kid, the naive big black eyes that could make any stranger in awe. The way she would light up watching any new thing, the way she made anyone melt with her stare only focused on them, the girl won many hearts, even without knowing.
Rain's Mom finally stopped, and came and sat beside her, panting a little. Rain quickly stood up and brought her mom, a glass of water.
