Sometimes the truth is in front of your eyes but we keep unseeing it. It might not be our fault, as we only try to see the good things in others.
Sometimes that truth is only learned when we hear it from someone else.
And then...
Our world breaks down.
The Lady had left Rain in the washroom after Rain kept insisting she stop touching her wounds. She didn't know where to go now. She couldn't go back home. She didn't want to. Reid was nowhere to be seen.
*And what if he saw it and ignored her?*
She didn't even want to think about it.
She went inside and sat down on one of the stalls, locking it from inside. She wanted to cry, sob hard. But if she let those feelings in, she knew she would circle back to her old self.
She hadn't realized when the time had passed. Only when someone tried to open the door, it dawned on her.
"It might be locked, they do it when it isn't clean" she recognized the voice. It was Rachel.
