EXT. BYOKO NATIONALS PARK (E)
Byoko Oppidum was a town famous for its national park accommodating the largest open-area of the three national parks. Aimer sat at one of the park bench, one of the few times without his mask, he waited for a friend.
"Yo, Bel!" Aimer looked up and there he was, Reminyah, his bestfriend he hadn't seen for over a year. "Geez, time flies," Aimer smiled back at Reminyah. "So, after a whole long year you're finally back, huh?" Reminyah took a seat beside Aimer. "Yeah it seems so, there's not much I can say really." "Not much you can say? Do you know what happened that entire time you were gone… what I've been through, could you possibly imagine?" Reminyah became infuriated with Aimer's nonchalant responses. "Reminyah, I didn't…" Aimer paused. "You didn't what! You didn't think just leave me here to receive the shorten-end of the stick? I was ridiculed, beaten, mocked, beaten again… everyday, every single day. And where were you when I needed you the most… nowhere."
"Look, Reminyah, I don't expect you to understand. What happened a year ago I had no possibly control over, I'm sure you heard news somewhere… about the hunters I went in with?"
Reminyah still had some rage on his just but say and thought through what Aimer said. "Yeah. That you were the only survivor. You don't think I feel some sort of way when my best
friend suddenly vanished into thin air? They abandoned the search within less the year.
Then I was hit with reality, a wave of emotions… you get the gist of it. Anyway, won't you tell me, what really happened?" Reminyah turnt to Aimer.
Aimer let out a sight, "This might sound bizarre but as it turns out I was trapped somewhere between worlds corrupted with monster infestation. You know as I remember, you're not the only one who struggled, I was constantly being placed in the most dangerous situations, constantly fighting for my life. I was alone where everything known was unknown. I think I know how you felt." Reminyah looked down, "So that's how it is," there was a screen floating before him that only he could see. "Yeah. All this talk, it's reliving the past. Got me wore out, how about we go have a bite?" Aimer said. "Truly. I got just the place." Reminyah responded.
EXT. BYOKO OPPIDUM (N)
Aimer and Reminiyah made a few round-about trips throughout Byoko Oppidum. From the park, Aimer and Reminyah stopped by a food court where they dined, spoke a little about each other such as Aimer being a Guild Leader himself vice-verse why Reminyah hasn't joined a Guild. The duo then after decided to hit up the Karaoke like old times but due to paparazzis intervention with new headlines of Aimer being the 'uprising star of the new age'. The propaganda proved too much to handle, it was a huge problem since there's the possibility Aimer's face reveal could go public; Aimer picked up Reminyah by the collar and just as you guessed it 'faded' out of there.
EXT. ANGLEWOOD HOSPICE
Later, we see our friends appear before a building— a hospital to be precise. Since Aimer's mother was removed from his Guild care and into the hands of Anglewood professionals, a visit was in order and Reminyah was to tag along with him— he couldn't argue, it's been quite awhile since he's seen Aimer's mother.
We go inside to Reminyah eccentrically seated at a chair next to Anysia's hospital bed seemingly engaged in a conversation. Outside, Aimer stood by door similarly speaking to the doctor who oversaw his mothers conditions.
The Doctor, "Are you Mr. Belafonte, the patients son?" Aimer, "Yes, I am." "Well Belafonte, your mother seems to be recovering at a slow process, this is due to the the baby of course. The child is showing signs of mana-festation, these occur in rare unborn who develop an immense amount of mana before birth and because of this it's putting a strain on your mothers' body. I suggest until the baby is born we keep her under close supervision." "I see, thank you doctor," Aimer said, he then went inside the room back into the company of his mother and Reminyah.
Anysia, she inquired with an apprehensive expression, "Well, what did the doctor say? Am I good to go?" Aimer, he sort of budged, "No mother, it's actually the opposite. The doctors think you might bear child soon." "Oh, how did that slip my mind? It's already that time?" Aimer confirmed with a nod, "Come mother, I have to go now. You're gonna have to get some rest, I'm looking forward to the new member of the family," Aimer and Reminyah excused their presence from the room and left the hospital. Just before our friends part ways Reminyah
Reminyah to Aimer, "It's about time I go, it was good seeing you again, oh and uh… congratulations." Aimer smiled, "I'll see you around?" Reminyah, he started walking off, "Yea, yea, you have much to worry about like the person watching you." Aimer felt dumbfounded for a moment but when his [Animal Instincts] kicked in he found that someone has been in the shadows observing him. "Found you. Now let's see if you can keep up," he thought. Aimer disappeared and whoever was following him chased behind, throughout the city, along rooftops, through glass windows until they came down a vacant construction cite.
Aimer didn't turn around, "Who are you and why're you keeping tabs on me?" Lorenzo stepped out the shadows, "As if you don't know." Now, Aimer turned around, "De Crosse, what's the waning of this?" "I heard you had a great deal with my son, do you remember that? Well, how about I see your worth?" Lorenzo lunged at Aimer and Aimer thought to himself is he crazy before disappearing far behind Lorenzo. The trick caught Lorenzo by surprise and he tried again to attack Aimer but Aimer did the same thing— disappeared.
"Didn't wanna have to do this to you but you can blame yourself for being such a weak father" Aimer launched a hit at Lorenzo or what it seemed when in reality he'd hit him seven different times in several different area which sealed the Guild Leaders mana points. "What did you do to me?" Aimer looked at the immobilized Lorenzo, "Oh you like the trick, it'll wear off in a few minutes. Til' then, let's speak like proper gentlemen. Now, what's that matter with you?" Lorenzo chuckled, "I guess the rumors were true after all, you're a Sky-Dweller aren't you? It would explain the level of power I felt in our little spar. Each time I tried attacking you it felt as if something was holding me back. I guess my question is, what are you going to do?"
Aimer, he pondered the thought, "is this what this really about? Not you son?" "Not at all, he just gave me the push to confront you in person. His matters aren't mine to see to. I just really wanted to know your true intentions." Aimer turnt his back, "Well, I plan on becoming the #1 Guild in this world, but first to do that I have to protect it. Does that answer satisfy your hunger cause if not [Skill: Intimidate Activated] we can keep at this," Aimer said this with a red-blood, cold glare.
"There's no need for that, I'm not as bad a person you might think I am," Lorenzo responded. Aimer realized he was now able to move, "Clearly, you can move now." Lorenzo gets up, "No thanks to you. I hate to say but I have to say, watch your back. Not every Guild are so welcoming when their power are threatened. Heed this warning, don't suffer the same fate," Lorenzo began to erase himself. "Hm, what was that? Some sort of skill? I don't know, in any case I meant what I said. I will, I am number one," Aimer faded from the cite.
