Seeing that a fight was unavoidable, Koku looked at the group coldly as he held Voidpulse up, ready to fight his way out of this situation. Emiko looked at Yuusha, Aron, then at Koku. "C-calm down, everyone. We're n-not in the place for this right now," Emiko stated in a small panic. Though saying this made things more tense than they were already, and in the slightest move, a fight was going to break out at any given moment.
"I've already fought Yuusha; he's weak. The rest of them are too, apart from those three," Koku was talking about the three vice principals who were walking towards the small scandal. "If I summon my Void creatures, then I'll be able to slaughter them all and escape, but if I do that, who's to know what those three might do or even have ready for a scenario like this…," Koku carefully considered his options and chose not to depend on his void creatures, which, on contrast, had been dying to assist Koku the moment they felt his Void energy begin to heal his body earlier when Koku had encountered the group previously.
A teacher who was already there and who had noticed Koku remained silent and on guard, so while the three vice principals walked over to their location, he remained motionless. Noticing this, Koku activated his eyes of time, beginning the attack. "First up, the teacher…," Koku told himself as he dashed out to the motionless teacher who had yet to notice the situation due to Koku's forced increased speed. "Die…," Koku muttered as he buried his sword's blade deep into the teacher who was about to yell at the vice principals to come over. Upon seeing this, Yuusha rushed right behind Koku, as to which Koku reacted by rotating around with his sword deflecting Yuusha's. By doing this, everyone's attention had already been fixed onto the commotion.
Seeing Koku and Yuusha in a fight right now, Emiko stayed back, and so did Aron, as did everyone confused, up until people noticed a corpse suddenly fall onto the ground with a bleeding hole. This was the teacher Koku had attacked right before fighting Yuusha. Clashing against another, Koku looked at Yuusha with pure dislike. For some reason, Koku wasn't overpowering him easily, even though he was hurt and currently only able to fight at around 20% of his full strength due to his body being nearly at the breaking point. Feeling a sudden rush of power, Koku looked at Yuusha with his genesis eyes and could see that by the passing moment, Yuusha was gaining strength at a considerable speed. "Something's supplying him with power… lots of it too," Koku thought to himself as he could see green energy form around him as gold and blue energy did too. "Magic…," muttered Emiko as she looked at the current fight, "Elder brother is currently being drowned by the world's affection, and three elements are already resonating with him. The divine, water, and nature elements are favoring him right now," she told Aron, who had been somewhat familiar with his power.
Just then, one of the vice principals walked up to Emiko and Aron, who were on guard, of course, and began to add onto Emiko's statements. "As are the high spirits in charge of these elements. For some reason, they really dislike whatever that boy has inside of himself. They seem wary too. Wary of something not too far," said the Vice principal with red hair and scarlet eyes.
This vice principal seemed different from the rest, which had been wanting to see Yuusha's potential and full skills display right before they chose to take him to Paladonia in restraints and by force.
"Yuusha seems to be endless in potential; however, his body will give out at this rate. The power being input into his body is simply too much physically right now. That boy on the other hand…," the vice principal (Mugenteki Hansei) was now referring to Koku and looked closely as Yuusha and Koku seemingly fought seriously. "Ah, that's right. That boy, he's… hurt. Seeing how he moves too, he's fighting at lower than half of his full power; even then, he's still holding up well. Against my student as well…," the student was clearly Yuusha who for a few months had been training under Hansei, the principal with red hair, scarlet eyes.
After a few minutes of fighting, Koku glared at Yuusha, who had by this point reached 15% of his own full power, with Koku being capped at 20% due to the circumstances. "If I drag this on, it'll get harder to escape, even more if this brat gets any stronger than me currently. Looks like I'll just…," Koku smiled faintly as he clutched the tip of Voidpulse's blade and slid his hand open.
"It's a gamble, but here goes…," Koku told himself as his blood began oozing out. "In the eternal city, I read in a text that described contracts among spirits. Some find you in times of dire need, and some through magic circles; you could also find them naturally, which is rare… however, there's another way. If I offer my blood, infuse my body with aura or magic of any kind and call out to a spirit, then one will come to you if your voice is heard." What Koku failed to piece together was that there was more to this mysterious, not yet fully explained method.
Because truly, when you called out to a spirit through this method, it was as if you were alone in an echoing world, completely dark and cold. To put it frankly, your soul and cries had to reach the other side. A side in which only the spirits could live; the world of the spirits, where many spirits of all kinds, kind and evil, all live together. To reach this place, you had to have a soul as pure as light or darker than anything ever before. So could someone who wasn't either of them reach this place?
As Koku's blood flowed from his hand onto the ground, he closed his eyes for something that was less than a second, thus beginning to call out to a spirit. "If my voice can reach any of you… I~I need… I need a spirit who's willing to aid me in this situation…," Koku's inner voice seemed to grow a little bitter as thinking of the idea to call out for help in this manner made him feel weird and unpleasant.
For what seemed to be an eternity, nothing spoke out to him. Nothing showed up, and nothing was present, only the endless dark, endless world in which he could hear his voices echoes. "Looks like I'll have to do this the hard way then…," Koku told himself as he, in both this weird place that served as a medium between the world of the spirits and the real world, emitted as much power as he could.
Now having Void energy and aura blow up and out of his body while the flow of his energy seemed uncontrollable and violent through his body, creating the image of an endless wild ocean, something rather strange and not within the spirit world seemed to notice Koku's presence.
In the medium space, Koku felt the surrounding darkness form a massive palm that was closing into a fist. All while this happened, everyone who had been facing Koku and not had felt the dreaded presence of Void power.
Feeling this, someone who had been watching from afar felt the endless sensation of contentment. "He really is interesting… this'll be fun to watch," this individual muttered as Koku's body currently seemed to be overexerting itself. "U-use it now!", one of the vice principals yelled as all three brought out a yellow stone given to them by Celestia.
"HURRY CRUSH IT!", a vice principal yelled out as all three did so, making a golden light form into a circle, which then summoned the strongest individual in all of Paladonia, Celestia. While this happened, Celestia, who was doing paperwork, had seen the light form around her, so she quickly stood up, grabbing her sword off her waist. "So they're in trouble…," Celestia muttered as she had hoped to see nothing like a leader of another nation present.
(With Yoru/Kurai), The sister, upon splitting away from Koku, had continued on their path to the mission's area in which they encountered groups of Orcs which they took down flawlessly. "Don't worry about Koku; he'll catch up with us later," Kurai tried comforting Yoru, who had a chilling sensation that something had gone wrong with Koku. This, however, didn't stop them from eventually reaching the general area, which they were reported to be last at by a magic stone that gave regular updates on their location.
"…," Yoru looked at the bloody scene as she and Kurai scouted for any survivors. "A member is missing… the rest are dead; means the other could be alive." Kurai informed Yoru who looked off past a tree. "Tracks over here; this member might've escaped," Yoru mentioned coldly as if she had been looking down on the dead adventurers. Finding the tracks, both girls began following it as they could see some orc bodies laying motionless on the ground. "They were probably overwhelmed, and this one escaped, either leaving the rest to die, or the others died and this one ran away," both girls conveyed to another hoping to be prepared for what might come soon.
