Satsujin grabbed the flagpole, stopping it entirely. He smiled, and right before he could say or do anything else, Koku jabbed Voidpulse into Satsujin's eye, ensuring he could no longer see. Right there and then, Koku had an idea, all within a second. "NOW, TRANSFORM!" Koku cried out as he transformed Voidpulse from a spear into a scythe.
Turning Voidpulse into a scythe after it was a spear that had been jabbed into Satsujin's eye pocket ensured it penetrated his skull and stabbed right through, killing him instantly.
Seeing this, Koku sighed a breath of relief and pulled Voidpulse out of Satsujin's body by transforming it into a staff. "You were really tough, and though you were strong, you were really trash, garbage actually," Koku looked at the body laying on the floor as he proceeded to spit on him and then began walking away.
But just as he turned his back and took three steps, Koku could feel that his connection to the Void wasn't back yet, or that it had even begun to reconnect. Noticing this, Koku's vision flooded with hands positioned next to his head about to crush his skull, but a pause in his movements happened. "DAMN IT!" Koku jumped forward while rotating and turned Voidpulse into a sword once again.
Now facing Satsujin once again, he could see Satsujin standing still, with his hands on the opposite sides of where his head was supposed to be. There were no movements after this. Just then, his connection to the Void returned, and Koku sighed after realizing that now Satsujin was dead. "Even after having his head and brain completely run through by Voidpulse, his body still moved for the kill… there are those who are stronger than him. I can't help but imagine how I'd end up against them…" Koku thought as he looked up at the ground above him. "Well, time to get out of here," Koku simply said as he raised his hand up and used Void Arrow, completely destroying the ground above him and making it cave in.
"Looks like all the things up here are more or less settled," Koku told himself as he blitzed Dago's men. "Now to find you, scum." Koku's main objective was to find Dago now, so as he sensed the area around, Koku found his exact location and took his sweet time hunting him down.
While this happened, however, one of the members of the party had slipped by; this being the assassin of the party. So, at the time Koku was nearing the end of his fight with Satsujin, the assassin of Satsujin's party caught up to Yoru and began to fight her.
This guy clearly had more skill and fought with Yoru for an easy 20 minutes when he began to gain the upper hand, winning the fight. So, for another 4 minutes, they fought, and just as the assassin was about to get a lethal hit on Yoru, who was more inexperienced when it came to fighting more powerful people, something happened last moment. The assassin switched his attack direction and threw a poisoned dagger at Yoru's sister.
Yoru, seeing the dagger fly past her, felt as if time had slowed down drastically. From deep within her, something opened up—a bottle with no end was the best description she could put it into words if she tried to. Swelling with her worry, fear, and love for her sister, combined with the now hate for the assassin and a desperate attempt to catch the dagger, a black light that expanded quickly shot out of her body and into the sky. This caused the dagger to fly away in another direction, and everyone within the city felt something horrible.
Koku, who was playing with Dago's life by this point, looked up into the air in the direction of Yoru. Koku slit Dago's throat without a second thought and rushed over there as he had seen a dense black aura forming a massive, somewhat transparent black cat. "Things are getting out of hand now..." Koku thought to himself as he arrived to see Yoru's darkness avatar over the dead corpse of the assassin.
"Her sister's been taken away by the night owl at the quickest glance of more danger and is currently being guarded by tons of cratrus's, the earth and sky dragon. Looks like I'll have to keep this power at bay for a while," Koku muttered under his breath as he began to enter the Cursed God's Gift state. "These black markings give me power yet make me feel watched…" Koku looked at the now feral Yoru who was being drowned by her magic nature. It had been tapped into and was really powerful, to the point she was being sensed throughout all of Eldoria. "Looks like this is getting more powerful by the second," Koku said as he could see the aura becoming denser and more powerful. Of course, he could see her at the center of the giant aura cat's face.
Her power right now is greater than mine, even in the cursed form. "Looks like I'll be fighting seriously for a little bit," Koku thought to himself as he had not wanted to hurt Yoru and was trying to find ways of using no force to get her back, though those options seemed limited.
Koku stopped the attack on the city and called the golem and red and black dragon to assist him in this fight. After they had arrived quickly due to being un-summoned and re-summoned in their area, now Koku was ready to fight.
Upon seeing the dragons and golems, Yoru's avatar state began rushing quickly towards them, shaking the ground with every step she took. The golem took a swing as the dragons took off to the sky, per the given opportunity by the golem. Before the dragons could get high enough, Yoru's avatar state jumped over the golem's fist and used it as high ground to jump towards the dragons. As this Yoru did so, she grabbed the red dragon out of the sky, dragged it down, and very quickly began to shred it to pieces. The golem, seeing this, took another swing at Yoru and hit her this time. As the hit connected, though, she was sent flying about 50 meters away, which for the size of the golem and avatar wasn't much distance at all.
Recovering quickly, Yoru rushed at the golem but was intercepted by the black dragon spewing its flames everywhere on her. Koku was left shocked when the black flames were bent towards Yoru's will, and he then learned what she was using. "Manipulation over darkness… right now she's in another world than me yet still in the same one…" Koku thought to himself as Yoru force-controlled the black dragon into fighting with the red dragon. "Strong enough the force control over my dragon which is made from darkness too… enough games then, this'll be a 50-50," Koku sighed as he began to gain access to a power he had only ever used under pressure and certain situations. "Void rage~," the air became cold, heavy, and terrifying as Koku entered Void rage once again, as he had done in the past a very few number of times.
Now feeling these two powers in the same area, the two grand mages of Eldoria stood up and began their travels towards Frostvale. But, unlucky for everyone already, a certain convoy was headed towards Frostvale and was at the broken gates of the burning city of Frostvale. "Ready the troops; I myself will be attacking those two overwhelming beings," said the third strongest great general of Paladoina.
"Come on, Yoru, snap out of it," Koku muttered as he suddenly appeared within Yoru's avatar, holding her in his arms. "Is there any way I can transfer a little bit of void aura to snap her awake?" Koku wondered as he looked at her acting all feral. Koku found his answer, so he held her tightly and closed his eyes. He then started pulling her face closer to his until he kissed her on the lips. Not a quick kiss but a long one.
After Koku pulled his face away, Yoru let a single tear escape her eyes, and then she lost consciousness. With this, her avatar dispersed, and Koku un-summoned all of his monsters as he quickly located Yoru's sister and picked her up. Now having both sisters unconscious in his arms, Koku blitzed off so fast away from Frostvale while he was in Void rage. Feeling a tug on his mental state due to using Void rage, Koku stopped using it after landing in this weird unknown place.
Koku raised his arm and summoned his strongest cratrus, with just about 20 weaker cratrus's for protection, as he himself was about to fall asleep due to exhaustion. As Koku fell asleep, back at Frostvale, this great general had gotten a glimpse of Koku and remembered the one who attacked Paladoina months prior to him being there. "Why was he here? And where's the source of that unfathomable strength…" he asked as he looked at the orange sky. "Nevermind… it's getting late, and we now have to save as many civilians as possible." With this, the great general would send his men to rescue the survivors and find any remaining threats if there are any left.
