Chapter 99 - The Grandson Visits His Grandfather

Some context.

Zahhak is an ancient evil of the world, he is the demon King, the dragon king.

Most notable features, is that he has the top half of a snake on each of his shoulders, and in my stories, Zahhak has the ability to turn into a dragon, since, he is the dragon King.

Jacob is the son of Archangel Gabriel and Zoya.

Zoya is the daughter of Zahhak, who Zoya's mother is, I will leave for another story, but for now, Jacob has decided to pay his grandfather a visit, alongside his squire Nungal! And Azrael and Hermanubis are of course tagging along, since they both inhabit Jacob's body.

In the original stories, Zahhak was defeated by Fereydun.

Zahhak was however not kill, he was imprisoned under the mountain known as Mount Damavand.

But now, Zahhak has escaped his imprisonment and now has his home, a castle atop Mount Damavand.

Oh, I forgot to mention, that Zahhak also commands demons, fairies and even angels!

Now, for the story.

Jacob and Nungal find themselves on the world of Zahhak, they are both standing in front of the large castle.

" Master, why are we here? " said Nungal.

" To pay my grandfather a visit, and Nungal, I told you that you did not have to come " said Jacob.

" You kidding! I want to meet you grandfather! " said Nungal all excited.

Jacob simply smiled.

" Well, let us meet my grandfather "

Jacob and Nungal now entered the castle of the dragon King.

The castle was an ancient and beautiful palace.

Jacob and Nungal walked for awhile, until they finally reached the throne room of the demon King.

Atop the throne sat he, Zahhak.

Zahhak was wearing armor covered in a old cloaked hood.

There were snake bodies made out of armor wrapped around each of Zahhak's arms, the heads of the snakes were at his shoulders.

Zahhak also had long black hair and red glowing eyes.

Jacob and Zahhak looked eyes with each other.

Zahhak smiled.

" My grandson, you have returned home " said Zahhak.

" Sorry but my home is in Camelot " said Jacob.

Zahhak just looked at Jacob.

" I see, then what brings you here? " said Zahhak.

" I want to know, what happened to my mother " said Jacob trying to suppress his emotions.

" Why ask what you already know, I am sure your father has already told you what happened to my dear daughter " said Zahhak.

" True, but what I really meant to say was, why did you not let me stay here, so you and father could have raised me together " said Jacob.

" To give you a straight answer, it simply would not have worked out, and if you had stayed here with me, I was afraid that your soul would have been corrupted " said Zahhak.

" So, Zahhak did not allow master to stay, because he was afraid that master would have turned evil " said Nungal.

Jacob just kept on looking at his grandfather.

" Does my answer not please you? " said Zahhak.

" It is not that, you are known as an ancient evil of the world, and yet you have shown kindness towards your own grandson " said Jacob with a smile.

Zahhak smiled as well, but Zahhak's whole mood now took a different turn.

Both Jacob and Nungal could now feel a intense auro coming from Zahhak.

" Hey master, what is going on? " said Nungal a bit worried.

" I do not know " said Jacob as every fiber in his being started to shake out of fear.

Zahhak now stood up from his throne.

" You know my grandson, I wish to see, just how much you have grown " said Zahhak.

A force of wind send Jacob and Nungal flying out the castle.

Jacob now transformed into a dragon.

" Master, why did you transform? " said Nungal.

" Because, I got a bad feeling about all this, Nungal, you stay out of this " said Jacob.

"No way! " said Nungal.

" That is an order! " said Jacob.

Nungal was quiet for a moment.

" Fine…. " said Nungal as he went to hide behind a boulder.

Zahhak now exited his castle, and looked up at Jacob's massive dragon form and size.

" Yeah, impressive, right? " said Jacob.

But Zahhak just looked disappointed.

" And here I thought that my bloodline would have improved, how disappointing " said Zahhak.

Jacob gridded his fangs.

" Oh yeah! Show me what you got, old man " said Jacob.

Zahhak simply smiled.

" My dear grandchild, I will now show you, why I not only commanded demons and fairies, but also angels! " said Zahhak.

Zahhak's eyes glowed as well as the eyes on the snake heads.

Nungal and Jacob looked in awe as Zahhak grew in size and form.

Scales, fangs, claws, horns, wings and a tail now appeared on Zahhak.

Zahhak also had the upper bodies of snakes on each of his shoulders, so, there were three heads in total.

Zahhak had now transformed into a dragon.

Zahhak was so large, that Typhon would look like a pebble compared to Zahhak.

Not even Jacob in his dragon form, did not even scale up to one of Zahhak's feet.

Zahhak stood up straight, crossed his arms, and stared down at Jacob, while the two snakes were hissing at Jacob.

(I just want to clarify, that Jacob also stands up straight while in his dragon form)

All Nungal had to say, was

" Divine Lugalbanda….. "

" You could say that again, my lord " said Sharur.

Jacob got his fear under control, and now, charged straight towards the head of Zahhak.

When Jacob was at Zahhak's chest, Zahhak's tail sent Jacob flying, and abon impact with Zahhak's tail, Jacob broke several bones.

Jacob was sent flying, all the way to one of the planets in the galaxy known as MACS0647-JD.

Jacob tried to slowly to get back up.

" Jacob sweety, you everything is broken " said Hermanubis.

" Hermanubis, I know, but what I don't know is, how in the hell did Fereydun defeat my grandfather… " said Jacob.

" Fereydun was very beloved by God, I remember the day when Zahhak refused to believe that he was about to be defeated by Fereydun, Fereydun simple said - You may refuse, but this is reality, and I am Fereydun, he who shall defeat Zahhak! -

What an epic battle " said Azrael.

Suit had now fully healed Jacob.

Jacob was now teleported back to the world of Zahhak, but it was not by his own powers.

" Master, you're back! " said Nungal.

" Yeah….and it seems that my grandfather has a few tricks up his sleeves " said Jacob as he looked up at his grandfather.

" It seems that you could not even withstand my tail, how disappointing " said Zahhak.

Jacob charged once again, but this time, Zahhak wrapped his tail around Jacob, trapping him.

Zahhak held Jacob up towards his face, while the two snakes were hissing even more at Jacob.

" I shall now, show you mercy, by killing you, my grandson, for you are truly disappointing " said Zahhak as he tightened his tail around Jacob even harder.

Jacob could feel everything in his body about to turn into dust.

Jacob now passed out from the pain.

" Master! " yelled Nungal.

Zahhak just had a disappointed look on his face.

A Holy lance now ran through Zahhak's tail.

Zahhak let go of Jacob, and as Jacob was falling, he turned back into his human form.

Nungal ran over to his master.

Zahhak looked and saw who threw the Holy spear.

" Beloved messenger " said Zahhak.

Before Zahhak was Archangel Gabriel himself.

Gabriel's suit disappeared and was replaced with his armor, his wings could also now be seen.

Zahhak noticed a dress wrapped around Gabriel's armor, Zahhak knew who the dress once belonged to.

" I see…. " said Zahhak.

Gabriel was quiet.

" Zulfiqar " said Gabriel.

Zulfiqar then flew from Jacob to the hand of Gabriel.

" Nungal, take my son and get away from here, as far as you can " said Gabriel.

" Yes sir! " said Nungal.

Nungal then put Jacob on Sharur and flew away on Sharur like a surfboard with a rocket on it.

They flew into space, and if you are wondering how they can breath in space…. Best not to question it.

" Well, it is only fair that I fight with a sword as well " said Zahhak with a smile.

The earth cracked open, and from hell itself came forth a sword.

Gabriel looked in horror at the sword.

" Dear God…. how could you… how could you turn your own father into a weapon.. " said Gabriel.

(Fun fact: Zahhak is said to be the son of both Angra Mainyu and Merdās)

Zahhak took hold of the hilt of the sword that was once his father.

Zahhak now held the blade towards Gabriel.

" Let us begin " said the dragon King.

The battle between Zahhak and Gabriel could be felt throughout all creation, and the universe they were fighting in was utterly destroyed.

The battle lasted a while, but Gabriel was the one victories and now stood over Zahhak, who was now back in his human form.

Gabriel held the blade of Zulfiqar at Zahhak's throat.

" What are you waiting for? Do it! " said Zahhak.

Gabriel was quiet.

Gabriel then lowered the blade.

" Coward " said Zahhak.

Gabriel snapped his fingers which made everything they destroyed return to normal.

" I am sorry, but I failed Zoya, and since I can never see her again, I will honor her by not killing you " said Gabriel.

" Bullshit " said Jacob, who had now returned with Nungal.

Gabriel just looked at his son.

" Never able to see her again my ass, not to be disrespectful, but father, you have been able to be with mother, since the beginning, for she is in heaven " said Jacob with a smile.

Zahhak was shocked by his grandson's words, but Gabriel was not shocked, he was just quiet.

" So it is true.. " said Zahhak with a smile.

" I have no right to see her- but before Gabriel could finish, Zahhak said

" Right? Are you not married to my daughter? You have every right to see her! "

Gabriel was taken back by Zahhak's words, while Jacob just smiled.

With that, all four returned to the castle of Zahhak, where they all enjoyed a nice meal, after eating, Jacob and Nungal returned to Camelot, but before Gabriel could returned to heaven, Zahhak had one last question

" Is my wife still imprisoned? "

" For the sins she has committed, she will be imprisoned for all eternity " said Gabriel.

Zahhak just smiled.

Now, for who Zahhak's wife is, as I said, that is a story for another time, for now, Archangel Gabriel returned to heaven, where he was reunited with his wife at long last, both of them cried, both of them were truly happy.
