The knight woke up to the sound of birds singing.
He could still feel that the carriage was moving. Which meant that they had not reached the town yet.
The knight now looked down and there was the little girl still in his embrace. With her head on his chest plate.
The knight could not help but notice how peaceful and innocent the little girl looked. '' I will never let anything bad happen to her '' the knight thought to himself.
Suddenly the carriage stopped moving. Which woke the little girl up. It seems that they have reached the town.
The knight was still looking at the little girl, and little girl was now looking at the knight's helmet. Looking through the eye holes. Straight into the knight's eyes. They were both just staring at each other in silence.
The silence was then broken.
'' We have reached the town sir knight '' said the wife outside the carriage.
The knight then exited the carriage, and then helped the little girl down from the carriage.
'' Are you sure this is enough to repay for saving our lives sir knight? '' said the wife.
The Knight looked at the wife, and then nodded.
'' Very well sir knight. I once again thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving me and my husband '' said the wife, and then the wife went to her husband's side on the fort of the carriage. After a few seconds. The carriage started to leave. Towards the sunrise. Until it could no longer be seen.
But then the knight heard a familiar sound. It was the growling of the little girl's stomach. She was hungry.
The Knight looked down at the little girl, and the little girl looked up at the knight, but the knight noticed that her face was still emotionless just like a doll.
The knight then looked round the location they were at in the town. To see if there was any establishment that sold food, and lucky for them. There was one right beside them.
The knight walked towards the establishment with the little girl beside him.
The knight and the little girl reach the establishment. Once they entered the establishment. They noticed a man behind the bar cleaning a glass. The knight walked towards the man with the little girl still beside him.
The knight now stood before the man at the bar.
'' I am the owner of this establishment and its bartender. What the hell can I do for you '' said the bartender, but before the knight could do anything. The little girl's stomach started to growl once again.
'' HAHAHA. So you two are hungry '' said the bartender '' Go and sit at that table over there and I will get you two some food '' He continued.
The knight looked at the bartender, and then nodded. Then The knight walked towards the table the bartender had pointed at. And the little girl followed the knight.
A few seconds later. The knight and the little girl reach the table.
There was one table and two benches at the table.
The knight sat down on one bench and the little girl sat beside him, close to the wall.
After a few minutes of waiting. The bartender finally came with some food.
'' Here's your food. Pay when you're finished '' said the bartender and left.
The food was yet again some soup with some meat and potatoes in it.
The little girl started eating, but before the knight could do anything. A woman approached the table.
'' Excuse me tall, dark and scary. You here for a meal or pleasure or maybe a little bit of both '' said the woman.
The knight looked up from his soup to see a red-haired woman with green eyes and revealing clothes standing in front of him, but before the knight could do anything. The woman noticed the little girl sitting beside the knight.
'' Oh you got a kid with you. Sorry, my bad. Guess you're just here to enjoy a meal. Sorry for disturbing you '' said the woman.
The knight just kept staring at the woman.
'' You got a problem or something? '' said the woman.
The knight then stood up from the table, and then walked towards the bartender, but before he did. The knight gave his soup to the little girl, and then looked at her in the eyes. The little girl then started to eat the knights soup and remained at the table.
The knight now stood before the bartender who was also the owner of the establishment.
'' You got a complaint or something? '' said the bartender while cleaning another glass.
The knight then pointed at the red-haired woman with his left arm.
'' What? You wanna buy her or something? '' said the bartender and the knight nodded.
'' For real! '' said the bartender '' Well you knights are also human after all, but she ain't cheap '' the bartender continued.
The knight then put a small sack in front of the bartender. The bartender put the glass down and opened the small sack.
'' Well I'll be. This small sack is filled with gold coins '' said the bartender.
The red-haired woman was in shock after hearing what the bartender just said, while standing next to the little girl at the table.
'' I know I said that she ain't cheap, but even this is too much '' said the bartender, while looking at the knight.
The knight then walked closer towards the bartender's table, and then gestured the infinity symbol on the table with his right arm.
'' So you want her forever? is that it '' said the bartender '' I guess this about covers it, but you know what's funny '' continued the bartender while leaning closer towards the knight's helmet.
'' A few hours ago three men came to my establishment with the same amount of gold, and the same small sack you just gave me. You wouldn't happened to know anything about that. Now would you, noble knight '' said the bartender.
The knight. Now leaned towards the bartender's face, and stared straight into his eyes with the glowing red eye holes of his helmet, and then shook his head.
'' I didn't think so. Because those guys are now feeding the pigs. If you know what I'm saying '' said the bartender.
The bartender took the small sack up from the table, and then looked at the red-haired women.
'' Your debt has been paid. Thanks to this selfless knight. You now belong to him and your free to leave this establishment '' said the bartender.
The knight stood up straight from the table, and then looked at the woman. Then the knight looked at the little girl. The little girl immediately stood up from the bench and ran to the knight's side.
The knight and the little girl then walked towards the door of the establishment, but before they could reach it. The bartender said
'' Hey. noble knight. I do hope you come back to my establishment. Because if you do. I might have another prostitute for you to buy. HAHAHA ''.
The knight did not even look at the bartender behind him and continued to walk towards the door.
'' Hey wait up! '' said the prostitute and followed the knight and the little girl as they were exiting the establishment.
Now all three stood outside the establishment
'' Why in the hell did you do that? '' said the women.
The knight just looked at her, and then walked to a nearby clothing store while the little girl was still beside him.
Once the knight exited the clothing store. He threw a grey cloaked hood at the prostitute.
'' The hell's this? and what do I need it for. Are we going to travel somewhere? '' said the prostitute.
The knight looked at the prostitute, and then nodded.
'' Where in the hell are we going? '' said the prostitute and the knight raised his right arm and pointed.
'' North. You want to go north? '' said the prostitute and the knight looked at her, and then nodded.
'' Why the hell do you want to go north? '' said the prostitute, but the knight did not answer her. He instead started to walk, but before he could take the first step towards north.
The little girl quickly grabbed the knight's right hand and held it tightly.
the knight looked down at the little girl holding his right hand, but the little girl just looked north with her big blue eyes and her white hood covering her heard.
The knight just shrugs his shoulders, and then started to walk north with the little girl beside him now holding his right hand.
''Hey wait up! '' said the prostitute while chasing the knight and the little girl while also putting on her grey cloaked hood.
After walking a while. The knight, the little girl and the prostitute reached the forest towards the north.
'' It feels like we have been walking for hours '' said the prostitute
'' Hey did you hear me?! Don't try to ignore me. I know you can understand what I am saying '' she continued, But the knight and the little girl just kept on walking with the prostitute behind them.
'' You are aware that the sun is setting. Right?! We need to find a place to camp out for the night '' said the prostitute, But the knight still kept on walking forward.
'' What the hell is with this guy?! Are knights not supposed to be gentlemen or something?! Is he not being extremely rude by not replying to me. Or maybe he can not talk or something '' the prostitute thought to herself.
'' Hey, little girl. Can the knight not talk or something? '' said the prostitute, but the little girl also just kept moving forward while holding the knight's hand.
'' Are they both ignoring me or something?! '' thought the prostitute to herself.
After a few minutes of silence.
'' I can not take any more of this silence... The sun is setting and it is about to get dark. Does this knight have a plan or what?! '' the prostitute thought to herself.
'' Oh no. Look I am bleeding! '' said the prostitute.
The knight stopped, and then looked at the prostitute behind him.
'' Seriously that's what gets your attention. Do you have a plan or what? and what's more important. Why the hell did you pay off my debt to the bartender?! Do I know you or something? '' said the prostitute.
The knight just looked at the prostitute, and then after a few seconds. He continued walking forward with the little girl beside him.
'' DID HE JUST IGNORE MY QUESTIONS WITHOUT ANSWERING ME?! I AM GOING TO BEAT THE EVER LIVING SHIT OUT OF HIM!!! KNIGHT OR NOT '' the prostitute said to herself.
But after walking a little bit further into the forest. The knight finally stopped. They had arrived at an opening in the forest.
'' You finally stopped and why did you finally stop? '' said the prostitute '' Don't tell me that we are camping out here for the night '' she continued.
The knight looked at the prostitute, and then nodded.
'' Is that how he replies to everything. I am really starting to lose my patience! '' The prostitute thought to herself with an angry expression on her face.
The knight just walked towards a tree and sat down with his back to the tree, and like usual. The little girl jumped into his embrace with her head resting on his chest plate, and immediately fell asleep.
'' I get how that looks cute and all, but it is kind of sending a wrong message here '' said the prostitute while looking at the knight and the little girl.
The knight just looked at the prostitute with the glowing red eyes holes of his helmet covered by his hood.
'' What? Trying to scare me or something. anyway, we need a campfire don't we?! '' said the prostitute and the knight just pointed up at the sky. Where the full moon now was, and the light coming from the full moon lit up the opening the three of them were staying at.
'' FORGET MY PATIENCE. HE JUST GOT ON MY NERVES!! '' said the prostitute with an even angrier looking expression on her face, But the knight just looked at the prostitute and after a few seconds, the prostitute finally come down.
'' Bastard '' said the prostitute and went to a nearby tree. Sat down. Closed her cloaked hood, and then fell asleep.
The knight closed his eyes which made the red light in the eyeholes of his helmet disappear, and the three of them fell asleep under the light of the full moon.
The sun was rising on the distant horizon. Which made the moon disappear, and once the light of the sun reached the knight. He woke up.
The knight opened his eyes which made the red light in the eyeholes of his helmet come back.
The knight looked around him, and saw that the prostitute was in the opposite direction of him sleeping.
The knight then looked down at the little girl, who was still in his embrace, and after a few seconds. The little girl also woke up.
The little girl looked up at the knight with her chin resting on his chest plate. With her big blue eyes and long yellow hair (that was not being covered by her white hood) were being lit up by the light of the sun, and the knight and the little girl just stared at each other.
'' Like I said. creepy... '' said the prostitute. Now also awake and looking at the knight and the little girl.
The knight looked at the prostitute, and then at the little girl, and then stood back up, and the little girl also stood back up.
'' Look I get that you want to protect her and all, but you can not be with her forever. You know that right? '' said the prostitute and it seemed that those words had an effect on the knight.
The knight looked at the prostitute, and then down at the little girl. He then looked straight ahead, and then raised both his fist taking a fighting stance.
'' The hell are you doing now? '' said the prostitute, but the knight just ignored her for the moment, and then the knight looked at the little girl. The little girl then started to mimic the knight, so she also took a fighting stands like the knights.
'' Are you seriously going to teach her how to fight? like right now?! '' said the prostitute, and the knight looked straight at the prostitute, and then nodded.
'' You have got to be kidding me. We have not even had breakfast yet! '' said the prostitute while looking at the two of them.
The knight kept on staring at the prostitute.
'' What? Do you also want to teach me how to fight? '' said the prostitute, and the knight nodded.
'' What the hell do I even have to lose at this point '' said the prostitute quietly to herself. The prostitute then walked towards the knight and the little girl, and then started to practice how to fight with them.
Over the course of three months. The knight, the little girl, and the prostitute traveled north while training, hunting and traveling.
Also. After the three months had ended.
The prostitute and the little girl became masters, and very skilled at fighting. Thanks to the knight teaching them.
The prostitute even picked up the knight's habit of not saying anything, but only until she met other people.
They finally reached the destination the knight had in mind.
'' Man! I have actually enjoyed this journey more than I thought I would'' said the prostitute to the knight with the little girl beside him. While the little girl was holding his right hand.
'' You can be a stuck up prick at times or more like all the times, but you are quite a good teacher. You have taught me and the little girl how to hunt and fight like masters. Seriously. I feel like I could easily kill someone '' The knight then looked at the prostitute behind him.
'' Calm down. I was only joking, but I have been meaning to ask. Just where in the hell are you taking us? I mean come on. We have been walking north for three months and I am getting a little tired of not knowing where we are going '' said the prostitute, but the knight just kept moving forward with the little girl holding his right hand.
'' Fine. Just ignore me as usual. I don't care '' said the prostitute and kept on following the knight.
After a few hours, the knight finally stopped and so did the little girl.
'' Hey why did you stop?. Don't tell me that we have finally reached our destination! '' said the prostitute and ran past the knight and the little girl to the exit of the forest that they were walking in.
Once the prostitute past the exit. All she saw was a small village ahead of her.
'' You have got to be kidding me! It is just another village. this can not be it. or can it '' said the prostitute and quickly looked at the knight behind her.
The knight then looked at the prostitute, and then nodded.
'' For real?! but why this village of all place. Why did you want to come here and....'' the prostitute suddenly stopped talking as she had noticed the one house at the top of the village.
'' But it can't be. That's…..That's... where I was born '' said the prostitute '' you were bringing me home all this time '' said the prostitute, and then the prostitute looked at the knight, and all the knight did was nod.
''But…. how? I never once told you where I was born. How in the hell did you know?!'' said the prostitute to the knight.
The knight simply raised his left hand to his head, and then pointed at his head with his index finger.
'' You read my mind! just who in the hell are you!!! '' yelled the prostitute keeping her distance to the knight.
The knight just kept on looking at the prostitute. The little girl just kept on looking at the knight with her doll-like face.
The knight then threw a small sack at the prostitute and the prostitute grabbed it and opened it.
'' Gold coins. You're giving me gold coins?! why?! Just why would you go through all the trouble of bringing me home, and now you giving me a sack of gold coins….. why? Because you are a knight? '' said the prostitute to the knight.
The knight just looked at the prostitute, and then nodded.
'' You are one weird son of a bitch. You know that right, and you can also read minds '' said the prostitute to the knight.
The knight just looked at the prostitute, and then started to head back into the forest with the little girl.
'' Wait '' yelled the prostitute, and the knight looked back at her.
'' Regardless of how much you freak me out right now. I still feel that I need to say thanks. So thank you '' said the prostitute and the knight looked at her, and then nodded.
The prostitute then looked at the little girl.
'' You be careful now kiddo. Okay '' said the prostitute to the little girl.
The little girl looked at the prostitute with her emotionless face, and then nodded.
'' of course '' said the prostitute.
The knight looked at the little girl, and then at the prostitute, and then shrug his shoulders. After that. The knight headed back into the forest with the little girl still holding his right hand, but this time. The little girl was holding the knight's right hand even more tightly.
'' I am going to miss you guys. Be careful out there you two '' said the prostitute and headed back to the home where she was born.
