At the heart of Forest Sauvage stood a tomb built for a King and a Queen, there was a sign near the tomb which read;
'' Whose is the quadrangular grave for with its four stones around the front? The grave of Madoc and Éire, the beloved once present King and Queen of Camelot ''
Nungal was standing before the tomb, it was late at night and there was a full-moon, it had also been a while since Nungal and his master last spoke and Nungal had a mix of anticipation and excitement in his stomach.
Nungal simply whispered
" Master…. "
From the shadows of the entrance of the tomb walked forth the dragon knight himself, Jacob, Nungal's eyes and smile widened as the armor of his master was being lit up by the light of the full-moon.
Jacob's helmet vanished into thin air and he then said
" Hello, my former squire " with a smile on his face.
Like a lightning bolt, Nungal was now in the embrace of Jacob.
" Master… I have missed you… " said Nungal with tears now in his eyes.
Jacob held his former squire close and said
" I told you once, that I would always be there for you when you need me, my dear Sir Nungal "
There were now even more tears in Nungal's eyes.
There was a small house near the tomb, it was in this house where Jacob and Melinoé both lived.
" Where is lady Melinoé? " asked Nungal as he sat down on a chair.
" She is visiting her parents in the underworld " replied Jacob as he was pouring a cup of tea for himself and Nungal.
" And why are you not with her? " asked Nungal as he was taking a sip of his tea.
" Well, other than one of us having to keep an eye on the tomb…. let us just say that my father-in-law has yet to accept me… " said Jacob as he was taking a nervous sip of his tea.
" Does Hades not like you? "
" It is not that he does not like me, it is more like, he does not like the fact that I am making love to his daughter "
After both Jacob and Nungal had taken another sip of their tea.
" Now, tell me what is troubling you "
Nungal looked at his master.
" Oh don't give me that surprised look, I have known you since you were a child, I know when something is bothering you "
Nungal just looked at his tea.
" I don't think I can do this… "
" Do what? "
" Being a master… "
" And why not? "
" Because I am not like you "
" And why should you be like me? " asked Jacob rather surprised.
Nungal now looked at his master.
" I remember teaching you to be better than me and not like me " said Jacob.
" But I am not better than you… " said Nungal.
" Ah, but you are, you have long ago surpassed me, my dear former squire " said Jacob with a smile.
Nungal's heart was filled with joy at those words.
" You really mean that, master… " said Nungal.
" I really do, Sir Nungal "
Nungal gave his master a hug from across the table.
" The tea, THE TEA! " Said Jacob.
After some time and having settled down, Jacob was now the one with a question.
" How are Fýsi and Drákon? "
" They are doing great, both of them are becoming fine knights, at this point, only a hand-full of knights can even withstand training with them, " said Nungal.
" I see " said Jacob with a smile while looking at his tea.
" They miss their mother and father, " said Nungal.
" I know... " said Jacob.
Nungal just looked at his master, he knew that his master and Melinoé were very loyal knights.
" Hey master, I just noticed that you do not have a sword "
" Indeed, this dragon has lost his fangs " said Jacob while pointing at himself.
It was quiet for a moment.
" You know, I miss this… " said Nungal.
" You can just visit whenever you like, " said Jacob.
Nungal smiled.
" It is about time I went back… " said Nungal.
Nungal was about to say something else, but Jacob quickly said
" Know that I will be with you along the way "
Nungal did not know what to say, he instead got up and walked over to the door, Jacob could see that Nungal was smiling and had a tear on his cheek.
" Give lady Melinoé my regards and tell Azrael and Hermanubis I said hi "
" I will "
...
" And master "
" Yes? "
" I love you "
" I love you too "
Nungal now walked out the house and back to Camelot.
" You don't need to hold it back anymore, " said Azrael.
As Azrael had said that, tears now ran down Jacob's face.
" Man….. I could not hold them back for much longer….. he has really become a fine knight and a great man " said Jacob as he was crying tears of joy.
" You are proud of him, " said Hermanubis.
" That I am, " said Jacob.
Jacob could now hear footsteps coming towards the house.
" Wait, that is not Melinoé! " said Hermanubis.
" I know, so she has finally come, " said Jacob as he was wiping the tears off his face.
Entering the house was none other than Lady Morgana.
" Hello my lady " said Jacob.
Morgana said nothing, she instead walked over and sat down on the chair, Morgana was still youthful for she had not aged, her beauty was still radiant.
Jacob put a cup of tea next to Lady Morgana.
" I see that you have finally exited the house " said Jacob.
" I remember you saying that I would never leave that house " said Lady Morgana as she took a sip of her tea.
" You are my master's sister, I was angry but I never intended for you to stay in that hell forever "
" Even though I was the reason for Mordred's death? "
Jacob paused for a moment.
" You know, when my master and Éire died, it was me and Melinoé who guided their souls to Avalon, when Melinoé and I had said our goodbyes, I then noticed Mordred, he and I just stared at each other, no words were spoken, he then smiled and in that moment, I felt like he had said everything in his heart with his smile alone "
Lady Morgana just looked at Jacob.
" Was Accolon there? "
" He was "
" That makes me happy, " said Lady Morgana as she was drinking her tea.
" I have a question " said Jacob.
" What? "
" How did you and Accolon have children together? "
" Why ask what you already know? " said Lady Morgana calmly.
" So you really did use The Morrigan, " said Jacob.
" Indeed "
It was quiet for a moment.
" I don't know what to do now… " said Lady Morgana.
" Why not go to Camelot and be with your children? " asked Jacob.
Lady Morgana just looked at her empty cup.
" Camelot has not been my home ever since Accolon died…. I also think it best if my children were not to meet me…. for now " said Lady Morgana.
" So, the brothers are gone and now the sisters remain, " said Jacob as he looked at Lady Morgana.
" Do you mind if I stay here? " asked Lady Morgana.
" Not at all, " replied Jacob.
" Would your wife mind? "
Jacob giggled.
" No, she would enjoy your company "
" How can you be sure? "
" Well, you can ask her yourself "
At that moment, Melinoé entered the house.
" Honey, I am home! " said Melinoé as she noticed Lady Morgana.
Lady Morgana just looked at Melinoé, Melinoé smiled and then said
" I see that we have a guest "
Melinoé then closed the door behind her.
Oh, and I would just like to say that Jacob, with the help of Melinoé, are both looking after Balto and Seabiscuit, Madoc's dog and horse.
