....A few hours later....
*CREEEEEAAAAAK~*
"There we go! This sounds like it hasn't been open in decades!" I yell in excitement while pushing the 'ENTER' key on the keypad.
"Do you really think what's down here will help us mister?" a little girl asked from behind me in doubt. 'Appears Lily doubts anything in here will be able to help' I thought.
"Yes I do little one. After all I built this place to be able to last centuries!" I say in encouragement. Her little face lights up in joy and hope. I take a look around and everyone is looking at me in determination. 'Looks like we went down another member. There's only 49 now, hopefully we can make it to the Traveler with this same number.'
"Alright listen up everyone!" I yell loud enough for everyone to hear while boosting up my volume on my helmet's mic. "You all have endured hardships and constant abuse from these "Fallen." But now I am giving all of you a chance to stand up and fight back! Do all of you want to fall!?"
"NO!" Everyone yells back.
"Then we are gearing up and heading to humanities last refuge! We are going towards the Traveler! And we will rebuild our home from the ground up! Now what do all of you say!?!"
"GLORY TO THE LIGHT!"
"GOOD! Now gear up!" I wave them forward and into the bunker and they all charge into the opening.
....Few hours later....
"Michael, sir? Were ready to move out. We've got everything packed up." a girl 'Kelly' asked me walking up in protective gear and a sniper slung over her shoulder.
"Alright then. Let's move out towards our new home shall we? I ask in a caring and gentle tone.
"A-ah yes we shall...." she says looking down in embarrassment.
I raise my eyebrow under my helmet then shrug my shoulders and turn around and start walking.
"LETS MOVE OUT PEOPLE!"
