The girl looked up at the woman, staring blankly for a moment.
She then nodded her head.
I wonder what they'll be like... The girl thought to herself as the pair started off towards the orphanage.
"Ah!" A man cried, clapping his hands together.
"You must be our Ella!" He exclaimed.
"So we really are settling on that name..." Another man sitting in a chair mumbled.
Upon noticing that both men were wearing lab coats, the girls eyes widened.
"You're...!"
She then quickly hid behind the woman.
"Ella...?" The woman questioned.
"That's not my name!" The girl exclaimed.
"Come now..." The first man who was quite tall, said, reaching out his hand.
The girl stared blankly at his hand.
Was he being sincere?
The woman then pushed the girl towards the man.
"Why don't we start over?" The man smiled.
"Ella, my name is Nox," he began.
"Starting today I along with that bum over there will be your new parents!" He cried in excitement.
"Control yourself now, Nox." The other man, now busy reading a book said with a frown.
"Come now, Claudius!" Nox exclaimed.
"Can't you be at least a little more excited about adopting our Ella?!" He cried.
"Woo," Claudius said sarcastically.
"You...!" Nox growled.
"A-ah, seems we're getting a bit carried away..." he began, clearing his throat.
"Come along now, Ella..." Nox said, extending his hand out once more.
The girl looked at it for a moment before hesitantly taking it into her own tiny hands.
