(1 year later in Kyoto)
It has been a year since the massacre. I think all my luck I have been building up for 10 years had come out. After the incident, a terrorist organization took all the blame for the massacre and the building that fell in. When I saw this on the news, I actually cried with happiness. I was relieved that they took the blame, and I didn't need to be so on guard all the time. This also made me decide to find a place I can settle down to restart my life.
The amount of money I got from the safe was enough for me to live 20 years of comfort and luxury. The problem was I didn't want to do that because I did kill 87 people, and I needed to do something to pay for what I did. I did feel bad about what I did. I still don't remember all of it and didn't want to. I also never had any nightmares about it. This made me want to help people more.
Back to me restarting my life, I just arrived in Kyoko. This was the city that I liked the most. After traveling around for the last year, I saw and experienced the most fun things Japan had to offer. Like many fun things I have done, there were also bad things that happened. the worst thing that happened was getting attacked by some low gang members. I wasn't as good as my father was at closing wounds, so I ended up with a scar on my face. It started at the right side of my forehead, going down until my cheekbone. That was 2 months after the incident and made me learn hand to hand combat.
I learned a lot of things over the year. I could fake all my paperwork now and minor hacking. This was the first skill I picked up, and it helped a lot. Using this skill, I already got myself an apartment and a school I will be joining in a week. I also made some changes to my looks. I had white hair instead of black. I also started wearing contact lenses to make my eye color ocean blue like my mother. I change so much that the only way to find out who I really was, was to do a blood test, which isn't going to happen easily.
(1 Week Later)
It was finely the day that I return to school. I woke up a bit earlier than needed to give a good impression on the first day. At the same time, I started thinking about how I really should act. I never had a real friend in my old school, and I was under my fathers' orders to be friends with them. Think again, what is a friend really?
I was so caught up in my own thought that I didn't even notice the curious gazes I was getting from the people around me. It only took me 20 min of walking to arrive in front of the school. I went towards the teachers' office to find out where I needed to go. It wasn't so hard to find the office.
Knock on the door. After a while, I heard footsteps coming towards the door. The door opened up, revealing a woman with black hair and black eyes with a white shirt and a black jacket over it and a red skirt. She looked up at me and smiled before she closed the door again.
"Has anyone angered someone with white hair, blue eyes, and a huge scar on the right side of his face!?" I heard her scream from behind the door. After that, I only hard muttering.
I waited outside for 5 min before I was getting impatient. Before I could knock again, the door open, revealing the same teacher from before.
"I am sorry, Adachi-san. I didn't know you were our new student. My name is Suzuki Yua, and I will be your homeroom teacher." She gave me a little bow.
"Please take care of me, sensei. You can also call me Shiro." I also returned her jester and smiled at her.
"Huh, your kind of charming when you smile. It would be best if you did that more often. You can also call me Yua when we are alone." She winked at me.
"You know I am only 16. But I will accept your offer." I nodded and made way for her to pass me.
"Hehe, I know. I like them younger." She gave a little laugh and motions at me to follow. Shaking my head, I followed her toward the class.
Stopping in front of the classroom door, she told me to wait until she calls me in.
"Come inside, Shiro-Kun." Just shaking my head at what she called me. I walked in and was met with 25 people staring at me. Some of the girls already had stars in their eyes, and the boys had envious gazes. But most of them were looking at me with caution and was muttering about something with their seatmates. Nothing I can do with that. This is how I look, and I will not do some makeup every day to hide my scar.
"Come introduce yourself." Yua beken me on.
"Hello everyone, my name is Shiro Adachi. Please take care of me." I did a small bow. Everyone went silent when I introduce myself. Looking up, I saw they were a bit pale. looking towards Yua, I saw he shake her head. "Did I do something wrong?"
"Did I not tell you to smile more?" She said.
"Ooh, Uhm." I smiled at them, and they went paler. Tilting my head, I looked back at Yua for answers, and she just dismissed me.
"Okay, whatever, just go sit down next to Izumi at the back." she pointed at the back of the class, where I saw a girl with long black hair and glasses look at me with no emotion on her face. I did as she said and went and sat next to her. I reintroduce myself and only got her name, Izumi Hitomi. That is how my life as a high school student started.
The next day I woke up earlier than yesterday because I wanted to take a run before school. When I exited my apartment, I heard my neighbor also come out looking over, and I was greeted with a shocked face Yua-sensei.
"Shiro!? You're my new neighbor?" she pointed at me and shouted.
"Aah, good morning, sensei. what are you doing up so early?" I waved at her.
"Right, I am going for a run before going to work." looking at her again, I saw she had exercise clothes on the same as me with a big backpack on her back.
"Shouldn't teachers be at school before the students?"
"Yes, there is a shower at the school. I go there after my run."
"Really? I didn't know that."
"Well, now, you do. Hmm, do you want to get your uniform and run together Before you think too much? I know you know the area, so I don't want my student to get lost."
"Hmm, certainly. I am sure my teacher isn't a cougar." I nodded, and before she could say anything, I went inside to get my uniform.
After our run and take a shower, we walked through the hallways talking.
"Who would have thought the dog would be that aggressive?" Yua mumbled. She saw a stray dog on the side and wanted to pet it, and it attacked her.
"Well, the way you walked towards it made it seem like you wanted to kidnap it."
"I wanted to. although he was a stray, he was so fluffy and cute."
"He was dirty, smelled, and had ticks on him. what is cute about that?"
"Huh!? You men cant see true cuteness!?" She shouted while standing on her toes in front of me.
"Haha, if you say so." I laughed at her while moving away from her.
"Tsk, whatever." she walked away towards the teachers' office, and I went towards my classroom.
While walking towards my class, my vision suddenly went white, and I was back in the room with Stacy. I was confused about why she stopped going through my memories. She still had her hand on my head, looking at her. I saw she was pale and sweating a lot. When I was about to shake her out of whatever was going on, I saw Dizzy behind her with a dagger, prepared to kill her.
"No!?"
