Many years later, the dark figure returned to put his plan into action. He had his target in motion. The young Elvin Princess he had noticed from before had started her morning patrol unaware that she was being followed. The dark figure watched her from a tree waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Jumping down from the tree, the figure approached the Elvin maiden. His steps made little to no noise on the ground. He snuck up on the princess and took out a knife to her throat thinking that he had everything sorted out.
Drawing her sword, the Elvin Princess turned around and held it to the dark figure's throat. "What do you think you're doing here evil one? You should know that you are not welcome in the Dark Forest."
Laughing, the dark figure lowered the dagger. A smirk came across his face. "Well well, you think you're so smart young one. I think you're the one who underestimated me. I have all the power to empower you."
"I think not. You are weak during the day and I can banish you to the Dark Realm." The Elvin Princess returned the smirk.
