[An old apartment on the suburbs of Xiwang City]
While the whole city was in an uproar during the night after the case of the Lin family, one certain person had no excitement or gossip to spread. In a dimly lit room, some cups of instant yakisoba noodles were present on a small table. A small but old PC laptop was present on the desk. There were some old but clean clothes present on the bed.

A notification saying "Your current account balance is 1,000,011,232.72 yuan" popped up on the screen of an old and cracked smartphone.
Hearing the sound, a perfectly tuned figure walked into the room. He had only a pair of pants on. Each and every part of his body was covered in perfect muscles. His skin was smooth with no faults. His body was sweating as a result of exercise.
This person, Ye Chen, was looking at the phone and smiling.

"Dark Blade Integration? Come to think of it, the system gave me something called Dark Blade. I've never checked it out, but I've been using that name as a hacker, though. WOW! A private area and a house? THAT'S AWESOME!", said Ye Chen.
Since no one was around, Ye Chen asked normally, "System, how do I integrate the Dark Blade into myself?"

"FU*K," Ye Chen frowned.
However he still tried what the system told him, because the system never failed him.
Concentrating his willpower, Ye Chen said in his mind, "Dark Blade."
A black katana darker than the blackest shadows appeared in font of Ye Chen. He grabbed it and, without hesitation, drove it into his own heart.
SLICE!
The blade of the katana sliced through his heart and went through him. However, the expected pain didn't appear.
SIZZLE!
Black flames with a size of nearly 10cm burned on the blade. The pain of being burnt by hellish flames made Ye Chen scream with pain. Even with his special body, the pain still made him scream.
The Dark Blade turned into smoke and it entered his body. The pain disappeared.

A key and a few contract papers appeared in his hand. He looked at it, and sure enough, it was written as Xiwang City.
Ye Chen suddenly felt that he was itching all over his back as well as his right arm.
"THE HELL?", yelled Ye Chen.
His right biceps had a black tattoo of a realistic katana and the words "DARK BLADE" was engraved beside it.
"Well, I guess it isn't that bad," he said after examining it thoroughly.
A sudden possibility struck him and he rushed into the bathroom.
He turned in front of the bathroom mirror and was stunned by what he saw.
"FU*KING HELL!"
A katana, a dragon and a phoenix.
A katana with its head on the top part of his body had a black blade which ran along his spine and ended right before it reached his bottom.
There was a chinese dragon which was encircling around the blade and its head stopped at the top part of his blade and left of his back. Meanwhile, the phoenix was flying and it's head was near the right part of his back and top of the blade.
This tattoo, made entirely with black color had a realistic feeling, as if they could come alive any moment.
At this moment, he realized that the so-called Dark Blade wasn't any ordinary katana.
"System, can you show me the information about this katana?"

>Two Souls for one - Host can temporarily use the powers of the Dark Blade. After receiving skills "Emperor of the night" and "True Master of the Dark Blade", host will upgrade to ultimate form and finally bind entire soul with the Dark Blade and use powers without limits.<(Skill Gained)
>Eye of truth - Host can see the souls of beings in black and white. Gray is normal, while white can be seen only in babies. Black souls indicate that the person has gone beyond the point of return and host should take care to immediately eliminate them.<
>Dark Flames - Once the blade/host has made even a slight wound on the enemy, the dark flames will burn him alive. However, souls and bodies that have less than 50% black cannot be burned.<
>Another Chance at life - Host can present an opportunity to repent and regret to those who are less than 50% black.<
>King of shadows - Host can merge and travel though the shadows.<
>Emperor of the night (Only after integration of above three) - Host can sense anything and everything happening in the shadows during daytime and nighttime. Range is limited to 1 km. Host can also use this skill to directly burn black souls walking in the shadows without moving from current position.<
>True Master of the Dark Blade - After killing those who do not deserve to live, host can upgrade all other skills so that they can change into their ultimate forms and make host fully become one with the dark blade.<}
A wave of information entered Ye Chen's mind. He thought for a while and frowned. "System, is there a way to upgrade these skills the same way as my Immortal Body?"
