Bella who was talking to the guard heard the voice of thud and so as the guard so they both turned to look what happened. They were surprised to see that Mike was kneeling on the floor.
Bella's eyes widened as she ran towards him to hold him when she felt that his shirt had already turned soaking wet. He was crying badly and there was pain on his face, yet she knew it was not because of the physical pain and the blood that had started to flow like a broken dam. He held him in her arms and kept her hands on his gut area but the blood was having a hard time stopping and soon he lost consciousness in her arms.
Bella closed her eyes as tears started to flow from there too. She knew how much he was hurt and what she had been thinking when she was telling him. It was something she should have predicted since the start. Yet the intense reaction felt foreign to her. Can a human die from the pain when he sees the other person in pain? How could this be!?
