Alex came running towards them and checked her from head to toe. When he got satisfied that she is fine. He hugged her and started scolding.
"Are you blind? Can't you see the vehicles on road? I can't understand how your mind works. You are such a clumsy person. You should be chained to me while crossing the road." He kept on and on. And the girl just giggled.
Bella looked at the scared and tense Alex. How love was pouring in his every word even when he was scolding the girl in his arms.
She suddenly felt a pang of pain in her heart. No one ever cared about her. Even when she was burnt for 200 years. Even when she was left there to kill. Her whole body had been cut many times that no one seems to care about her life anymore. No one has ever asked is she okay? Is she hurt?
"Are you okay?" Asked Alex holding her hands awkwardly. But there was concern on his face.
"I think sister in law is still in shock. Look she is not reacting." Said Anna behind Alex with a giggle.
