About two years have elapsed, and during those years; Medina has gone on many adventures. Such as:
Sailing with Sindbad the Seaman, where she encountered Shaykh al-Bahr.
" Jesus… " would one of the sailors say, when he saw Medina standing on the surface of the water.
" Woohoo! " exclaimed Medina, later, as she rode on top of Dandan.
Medina's adventures later took her to the desert, where she met Insan-i Barr.
" Yeehaw! " exclaimed Medina, as she was riding a Sand Striker.
She visited the tomb of Kush ibn Shaddad. She would later visit the tomb of Tarmazayan. She even visited Rajiha and the City of Stone.
It was on one of these adventures that Medina ran into Morten.
Morten, who is 30, like Medina, is well-built, with sea-blue eyes, and curly blonde hair. Like Medina, Morten too has magical items and powers. But, unlike Medina, who gets her powers and items from the Arabian Nights. Morten gets his from
H.C. Andersen's stories.
Such as:
The Tinder-Box(Fyrtøjet), which can summon forth the three dogs.
The Princess' Pea. The pea can be fired as a protectail, and can pierce anything like Gungnir.
Tin-Soldier Talos. The Tin-Soldier can transform from "Tin-Soldier-size" to "Talos-size" - from small to colossal.
The Bell. The Bell is able to heal wounds.
The Galoshes of Fortune, which can take one anywhere they like: within time and space.
(But Morten rarely uses the Galoshes.)
The Moon can speak with Morten, and tell him what it sees.
(Fun fact: the fact that the Moon can speak with Morten… is something which Medina is quite bitter about.)
Morten can use the Metal Pig to bring inanimate objects to life.
Morten's Shadow has a personality of its own, and can therefore: act on its own. The Shadow likes to prank Morten, but it does help him when he needs it.
Morten's Shirt Collar can talk, and likes to boast flirt.
Now, to the plot!
I will explain what Medina explained to Morten.
Medina is currently being hunted by three individuals by the names of:
Haman.
Fir`aun.
And Thu'ban.
These three seek to take advantage of the power vacuum created with the deaths of both Dajjal and Malum. And the fact that Medina is Malum's daughter, has made her a target.
" Why do they seek to kill you? " asked Morten.
" Prestige? bragging rights?... honestly: MP isn't sure himself "
(Hey!)
" Regardless " said Medina with a smile; " I am my father's daughter, thus; I have no intention of becoming the prey "
For Medina shall become the huntress!
" Worry not! Oh fairest of maidens! " exclaimed the Shirt Collar; " for I shall protect thee! And afterwards! I shall have the honor of wedding thee!! " exclaimed the Shirt Collar, proudly.
Morten sighed, while Medina giggled with a smile.
" Where shall we start? " asked Morten.
" Let us try… The City of Brass "
And thus, they went.
It took a few days of walking, but they had both arrived at the Brass City.
" Woah… " awed Morten, as he beheld the many statues.
" Come on! " yelled Medina, as she was at the entrance to the palace.
The two of them entered, and that was when Morten woahed once more, as he beheld the statue/corpse of Queen Tarmazayan.
" Even in cold death… the Queen's beauty can still bring forth warmth " said the Shirt Collar.
Medina sighed respectfully, as it was the second time she saw the queen.
Morten approached Tarmazayan, but that was when the two statue sentinels blocked the way with their staffs. Morten fell on his ass in freight and shock.
Medina giggled from behind him.
" You knew! Didn't you?! " exclaimed Morten, blushed cheeks and his dignity wounded.
" I knew, " said Medina, while faintly giggling.
Morten sighed, embarrassed, as he got up. But that was when he felt the sand move from under his hand. Medina noticed it as well.
" Oh dear… " said the Shirt Collar.
" Oh dearest " said Fir`aun, as he summoned forth an army of Sand-Seths from the entrance.
Medina turned to face him. She was about to summon an army of her own, as she placed her hand on the Charmed Sword of Abu Mohammed. That was until Morten walked up and said:
" I got this "
Morten took out the Metal Pig from his pocket.
" Pigs can fly… " said Fir`aun, as the Metal Pig was flying about within the throne room. The Fir`aun being distracted, did not notice the horseman statue from behind him; starting to move its fingers. It then started to move its neck, and likewise did its horse.
Fir`aun finally noticed, for he could hear all the creaking. He turned around, and that was when the horseman was looking right at him. A thundering BOOM! Echoed, as two statues came crashing down from the ceiling. Fir`aun feared for his life, as the towering statues were all glaring down at him.
" Oink " sounded the Metal Pig, as it was resting on top the shoulder of one of the statues.
Medina covered Morten's eyes, as the statues made shishkebab of the Fir`aun. That was when the queen arose once more.
" Your majesty, " said Medina.
" Kindly do not call me that " said Queen Tarmazayan, calmly and collected; " for I deserve no such honor… "
Medina and Morten both paused, as the queen lowered her head towards the ground. Tarmazayan then lifted her head, and held it up proudly, as she then said:
" Is there anything I can offer you? "
" Your hand in marriage! " exclaimed the Shirt Collar.
Tarmazayan giggled softly.
" I am honored and charmed by your offer " said Tarmazayan with a smile; " but I am afraid that it can not be "
Morten sighed, which is something he often does, whenever the Shirt Collar talks.
Medina smiled. She then saw the Metal Pig fly up, and then resting on the Queen's shoulder.
" Hmm " sounded Medina with a smile and an idea; " we seek no riches, but friends. If a day of great trouble should ever come: can we count on your support? "
Queen Tarmazayan gracefully nodded her head.
The Metal Pig returned to Morten, and that was when all the statues returned to how they originally were.
The two of them left the Brass City, and made their way towards another adventure. But not before resting for the night. The full moon was out, as Medina and Morten were sitting by a campfire within the desert.
Medina got up, walked over to her Ebony Horse, and then took out ready-made-meals from within her Saddlebags of 'Abd al-Samad.
" That never ceases to amaze me " said Morten, as he enjoyed the warm meal; " what dangers do you think lay ahead? "
" Why don't you ask the moon? " said Medina, bitterly.
Morten sighed, which he often does; whenever Medina showed her envy for Morten being able to speak with the moon.
The light of the moon shone down on Morten.
" Yeah, I know, " said Morten with a smile.
Medina looked at Morten.
" What? What did the moon say? "
Morten sipped his drink quietly.
Medina glared at him with envious eyes.
Morten heard Medina whistle at him.
He looked towards her, and that was when he got a face full of pie.
Morten sat back up, cleared his eyes, and saw Medina smirking. He then calmly picked up his plate full of rødgrød med fløde.
" Don't you dare- "
Before Medina could finish, she got a face full of rødgrød med fløde.
Medina sat back up, cleared her face, and then said with a grin:
" Infidel "
" Heretic "
The two of them now started to wrestle, till they were no longer wearing any clothes… if you know what I'm saying ;)
Medina and Morten made their way towards The Elfin Hill, where they were warmly greeted by the Elf-King and his seven daughters.
The pleasantries continued, as the Elf-King had prepared quite the banquet in honor of his two guests.
All the magical creatures and animals were invited, even Holger Danske and Ole Lukøje appeared.
Medina noticed that all the exquisite daughters of the Elf-King; all seemed to be a bit too "friendly" with Morten. That was when she decided to put on a solo parody performance on Inna's song: Yalla.
Medina was wearing beautiful Egyptian belly dancing attire. The onlookers were left speechless and breathless, as Medina was dancing to the music in the middle of the hall. The Arabs in the audience all got up, and danced around Medina, as if she was the Kaaba.
(Morten had to hold onto his chair, so as not to fall from it, for the dancing shook the very hall itself.)
Medina could feel the music resonate from within her very soul. Her sweat made her skin glow. She had closed her eyes, as not to show any favor towards any in the audience. But for a split second… Morten could have sworn that she had looked at him.
The dancing and music were over. Morten pushed through all the Arabs to get to Medina.
" Thank you " said Medina with a smile, as Morten had just handed her a towel. Words seemed to fail Morten, for Medina was that beautiful. As the poet would say:
" Words fail me, whenever I look upon the moon. "
Things had quieted down, as everyone had gone to sleep. Medina and Morten were sleeping in the same bed. And that was when something seemed to come out from within the shadows… it was Haman, dressed as a hashashin. He knew that he could never defeat Medina fairly… so he went with: quietly.
The assassin was making his way towards fair Medina: who was sleeping peacefully. His steps made no sound, even a cat would be envious.
The hidden blade came forth, as he was standing over our favorite girl. The assassin was about to strike, but that was when the moon's light entered the room, making Morten's shadow appear.
The Shadow quickly grabbed hold of Haman, and the moon then told Morten to wake up. Morten awoke, he saw the assassin, and then shook Medina awake. Medina opened her eyes, saw Haman, and then promptly uppercutted Haman.
The would-be-assassin landed on the ground, defeated. Furious and ashamed that one of his guests was almost harmed(get it? :D). The Elf-King would see to Haman's punishment - personally.
Morten said farewell to the Elf-King, and when he turned around; he saw Medina whisper something to a bird. The bird flew away, to deliver Medina's summons.
It took a few weeks, but Medina and Morten had both finally arrived at Waq Waq Island. An island only populated by women, and ruled by Queen Nur al-Huda. But don't order your plane ticket just yet. These women are warrior women, and Nur al-Huda is said to be ruthless… or, at least, she was. It was Malum who humbled the ruthless Queen. For he denied her when she said: " Do it then… kill me ", for Malum knew that death would have been a mercy, and humility a bitter pill to swallow. Thus, Queen Nur al-Huda had had time to reflect, and is now a kinder monarch.
But… Some of the Waq Women still act hostile towards any men on the island. They love Medina, for they helped raise and train her; whenever Malum came for a visit.
One of the Waq Women stood in Morten's way.
" Enough " said another Waq Woman; " the queen has ordered that we show both: hospitality "
" I won't move until Medina's bitch bids me to "
" That's for you, " said Medina, turning to Morten.
Morten did not wish to be rude… but he was no push over either. So he challenged the Waq Woman to a duel - which he won.
" Impressive… " said the Waq Woman, as she had not held back.
Morten sheathed his sword, he then walked past Medina.
" That ass " said Medina, while biting her lower lip, for Morten truly has a perfectly shaped ass.
" Welcome " said Queen Nur al-Huda, as she rose from her throne. The queen held a feast in their honor, and it was during the feast that one Waq Woman ran in, yelling:
" My Queen! My Queen! "
" What is it? "
" An army has appeared from out of nowhere! "
Everyone ran outside, where they beheld the massive foreign army.
" Thu'ban… " said Medina.
A flying beast landed in front of Medina, Morten, and the queen.
Thu'ban dismounted.
" Wait a minute… " said Medina, as Thu'ban's face looked familiar.
" Who is it? " asked Morten.
" The enemy of the Prophet…Ubay ibn Khalaf… "
" You would be amazed at how much a name change can do, '' said Ubay with a smile; " so… Here we are at last. Do you wish to make it quick? Or face the wrath of my army? "
Medina noticed that Ubay's army was made up of Ifrits, Marids, Peris, Ghouls, 'Auns, and Divs. Some were small, and some were colossal. Some were monstrous, and some more humanoid. But each was able to take on a hundred warriors with ease. Medina knew that the queen and her Waq Warriors could put on one helluva fight, and at least take down half of Ubay's army… before all dying a warrior's death.
Medina looked nervous, that was when Morten took hold of her hand. She looked at the warm smile of Morten.
" You are not alone "
Cheesy, I know. But it worked, for Medina looked more self-assured. For she said:
" Bring it on "
" Very well, " said Ubay, as he returned to his army.
It was now time to call in some friends, as Ole Lukøje teleported Queen Tarmazayan and her army to the battlefield. He then let his brother take the reins. Medina used Abu Mohammed's sword to summon forth her army of Ifrits. A vast shadow was cast over Ubay and his army, as Tin-Soldier: Talos towered before them all. Morten also used the Tinder-Box to summon forth his three dogs.
Queen Nur al-Huda stood ready with all her Waq Women. That was when a shadow was cast over everyone, as Roc had answered Medina's summons(kinda like the eagles and Gandalf.)
(Fun fact: Roc is also the same bird from Andersen's story: The Phoenix Bird.)
Even Holger Danske came to Medina's aid.
It was the calm before the storm, as the two great armies stood before one another.
Ubay gave the order, and rode forth with his army.
Medina raised her sword high. She then yelled, from the top of her lungs:
" Basura! "
As she rode forth with her friends.
The earth shook. The sun was in Ubay's eye, as the wind flew in Medina's favor. The armies finally met, and an incredible and indescribable battle now took place. Many brave and great warriors fell. Many would be known for renown, but it would be Medina who would be known for slaying Ubay.
Medina sheathed her sword, as she stood over the corpse of Ubay. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to look into the kind eyes of Morten. Medina smiled. She then looked on, as Morten's Shirt Collar gently lifted her chin.
" Ah, my lady, " said the Shirt Collar; " Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? "
Medina had a look of Wow!, on her face, and even Morten felt like he had to up his game.
In the end, Medina and Morten would have a daughter together. A daughter named: Margrethe.
Margrethe has blonde hair, and like Sikander; she too has heterochromia; where one eye is brown and the other is blue.
From Medina, she would inherit:
The ring which can summon the Marid: al-Ra'd al-Qasif.
The Ring of Abu Sir.
The Cap and Rod of Hassan of Basra.
(The Cap makes one invisible, and the Rod can summon forth Djinn Kings.)
From Morten, she would inherit:
The Galoshes of Fortune.
