Finally landing on the soft grassy land. The twins looked to each other. Feeling a bit more nervous about this than they thought. Maily krux because he had been here before, and he had attacked here. But the first thing that Acronix actually wanted to do is visit their mother. In which they did.
Some people gave looks to them as they walked through the village. One gave a nasty look to Krux. As he had ruined their home when he was here. Acronix saw a small girl run up to him, which caused him to stop. "Hello sir! Can you help me get my ball down from the roof? My friend accidentally kicked it up there." She said, putting her hands behind her back as she gave pleading eyes.
"Sorry kid but-". "Certainly, show me where it is", Acronix interupted his brother, who was about to deny her. Nixy followed the small girl who walked to a nearby home. She pointed upward to direct him to the ball. He thought this through before he jumped up and grabbed onto the ledge. Pulling himself up onto the low roof. He sat down and pushed the ball off into her arms. "Thank you sir! Bless your kind soul!" She said joyfully before she ran back to her friends.
He felt warmth just by hearing those words, causing him to smile lovingly. He dropped down and dusted himself off before he walked back to Krux. Who didn't seem pleased at all. "Brother. Why not give a chance to do a good deed? It will warm your cold heart." Acronix whispered to him. "Yeah, but we surely don't know if our old home even knows that we nearly tried to change the past. Let alone take over ninjago." Krux whispered back to him.
Acronix sighed and rubbed his temple. "This is why you change for the better..." he frowned. He walked with his brother in a awkward silence. Truly they had so much tension between them, one withholds the entire power of time while the other is struggling with a demon. The two never connected well, which divided their brotherly love. They still loved each other deeply, but with current times, it feels as if they cannot accept that very feeling.
The thoughts had Acronix to frown, making him quiver. Like a fragile leaf, he felt weak. Tears threatened his eyes. How he wished that everything was to just end and he would have his old brother back. But it wouldnt come to him. Not now. He can only try to make things right again, slowly but surely.
Krux too was troubled, he wanted the best for his brother. Wanted his brother to be happy. And surely enough, want his brother to be given the chance to a proper life than he had. Stuck 40 years alone, with family either dead or trapped in a vortex. It really deprived him of his once better self. He truthfully missed being kind to those who he was close to. But he also missed spending valuable time with his twin.
Each was upset, and they took that notice once they arrived at their parents graves. They stood infront of the graves, looking down at each weary tombstone. They looked at each other, noticing how the other was looking to just let things go and show very weakness. Acronix was the first to break, as seem he is more sensitive and weak compare to his twin. In emotions that is. But Krux quickly pulled Acronix close to him.
Due to Acronix feeling his legs weaken, Krux made a move for the both of them to sit down and himself cradle his brother. "Nixy don't cry...it's ok brother..I'm here.." Krux cooed softly to the younger twin. "I just...this is so much...why must things be like this...I want to live peacefully with you.." Acronix cried. But he knew that won't exactly happen. He doubted it. But he still wanted to believe he could live peacefully with his twin.
"I want the same thing dear brother. But we just have to fight off tc...figure out how to capture him...and settle down finally." Krux quietly said. Hw gently rocked his brother as he hummed a small tune. A familiar melody that their mother once used. [Song above] it had calmed him down quickly when he actually did listen to it. Though he was still upset. He trembled lightly against him. And Krux cooed softly to him. Making sure he was ok before he let go of him.
They sat there in silence, giving due respect to their parents graves. But it was interupted by footsteps. They looked to find Lloyd walking up to them. Rather in casual clothing that matches his signature color. "I've heard some stories about your mother from my dad." He muttered as he stood next to them. "A legendary warrior in his eyes. He told me he use to admire her tactics in combat. Said that she learned them from a personal mentor. But never knew who it was."
"Don't understand how garmadon told you of these things." Krux muttered in annoyance. "Well...during the time of the tournaments. Ive asked him what it was like with the other elemental masters. The parents. He told me stories from everyone else, but only briefly mentioned her. I was curious of who she was. And asked more of her. He was hesitant to even mention your both, could see why." Lloyd explained. Though he gave a closed eye smile.
"He said that she done alot of good things, helped to restore peace. And when you both was believed to be gone, I took the time to look around the museum where krux resides mostly in. To find-" "a portrait of me, my twin, and our parents. Along side it is a huge portrait of our parents before we was born." Krux interupted him. "I know, it was moved to a gallery. Along with the giant painting of the battle between the twins and masters" He muttered.
"They three was moved apon my request. As its apart of our history. But as well as a memorial to your mother.." lloyd said softly. He looked to the graves quietly. Silence fell apon them three. "Mother always was a role model to me. I loved to take from her side of the family. The very reason why I grew out my hair so much. It reminds me of her." Acronix admitted with a small smile. "Her hair was so long and gorgeous, I always wanted such long hair like hers. If I haven't of time traveled, it would of been much longer than now."
"So krux was more of a papas boy then?" Lloyd asked. "Certainly, I love my father. I love his works and creations. His craftsmanship was the finest in the lands." Krux admitted to them. "Acronix for sure a mamas boy. But wouldn't change anything about that" he smiled lightly.
With them spending time with each other about how rhea was, it started to create some bond with he three. Though one questioned was burning through all their heads.
Had tc and rhea ever actually meet?
