Bryan woke up with a huge headache that threatened to split his head into million bits. His head was pounding while his whole body trembled with pain so much so that he couldn't even move a finger.
He lay still for a while before summoning all the courage he could muster and forcing himself up. He brought his hand up to his head in a bid to massage it but he froze when he saw his right hand.
It was covered in a red, sticky liquid!
On closer inspection, it smelt like blood. Whose blood? He wondered and quickly stood up to check himself, his heart beating faster than normal.
Blood was on the floor and it looked like it had been transferred from his hand to the floor. His eyes went wide mostly because he didn't really recall what happened last night and how he got this blood on his hand.
