The doctor was soon brought into the interrogation room. He sat comfortably without a care as if he was here for a medical conference and not for interrogation over an alleged murder conspiracy. He looked around the room and found that the cameras were blinking.
He exhaled and leaned back into his chair, his eyes focusing on the glass of water that had been left for him, the police thought he might really get thirsty during the interrogation. His eyes swept over to the door when he heard it open.
Bryan and Bernadette entered but before Bryan could close the door someone stuck his face in and whispered, "The audio recorder is in place."
It was supposed to be heard only by the detective but Winslow had good ears and he took note of that and sat straight when they came over to him.
"At ease!" Bryan mocked then waved his hand, "you don't need to be tenses. It will be easy and painless."
