Walter's eyes widened, "three days and you're telling me just now?!"
Remi raised his arms up in defence and said, "I had my reasons okay. You were in the hospital when it happened and I had to make sure that I took care of whatever caused the accident."
"Accident? You call that an accident?" Walter rushed to his room and changed his clothes and pondered whether to give Bernadette a call or not but in the end he decided against the thought. She was probably busy and he didn't want to worry her with this besides he was well aware of the enmity between the two.
He came out again and rushed to the door before stopping and turning to the lawyer, "well, what are you waiting for? Let's go!"
Remi, who seemed like he had frozen in time, responded and followed him out the door. Many things were plaguing his mind and he was worried about what might happen next. He was worried about what could happen to him, to Walter, to Tracy or to Bernadette.
