Bryan, together with Jason, arrived at the apartment and stood before the door for a little while before knocking. No one answered the door and they knocked again but there was silence. It was unusual that she wasn't home since they'd confirmed she wasn't at work.
Bryan checked his time then turned to Jason, "she isn't at her work place so where could she be?"
Jason thought for a while then shrugged, "I have no idea man."
Bryan stepped aside and made a call and later came back to inform Jason, "Spotted, she's at the mall."
"How did you do that?" Jason asked a little surprised. It always left him stumped how fast the detective was able to pull strings or get information before anyone else did. It intrigued him.
"Are you coming or you want to know how I knew where she was?"
