It was almost 8p.m. when she heard a knock on her door. Bernadette went to open the door but first she checked the peep hole to see who it was.
She opened the door and welcomed Bryan with a hug that lasted for a full two minutes. He could tell she had a lot on her mind and was stressed out as well.
He patted her back and led her to the couch. "What's wrong?"
She sighed and covered her face with her palm, "I don't know, babe. I just feel a little off. I brought Walter to visit Tracy today and I don't know what to think."
Bryan could vaguely put the pieces together so he only nodded and hugged her again, "don't worry; you're doing a great job."
He knew that she was worried that the reason Walter had reached out to Tracy was because she wasn't doing her part as a guardian. She just felt that her position in his life was slipping away but he knew that it wasn't true.
"Hey, uncle Bryan, you're here." Walter greeted when he came out of his room.
