He closed it and flicked it open again while examining the interior to check if he had missed anything all these years. He looked at it again and snapped it shut and then opened it again. It was like a cycle and he seemed to not be tired of doing it.
Will looked at the old pocket watch that his father had left him two years ago with sorrowful eyes. This was the only key, the only missing puzzle piece he needed to prove his father's innocence yet he was incapable of figuring it out. How could he not feel down?
The pocket watch was as it was the first day, nothing changed. He had thought of breaking it in pieces to check if there was a message hidden inside it but then what if he destroys the evidence in the process?
