"I was thinking of going out tonight." Bryan mentioned casually hinting that he wanted to take her out.
"Where to?" she asked unenthusiastically. She still had memories of what happened yesterday when he said that he knew a place that she would like but it had turned out to be a bad café. The only good thing that happened there was that she had fun watching him beat Maria over and over again.
If his idea of going out was like yesterday then she would rather sit it out. Bryan replied, "I want us to go to the night racing tonight. We haven't been there in a while."
Bernadette thought about it for a while before nodding her head, "Okay then."
"What were you doing?" he asked noticing that she had closed her laptop the moment he walked to her. He reached out and tried to open the laptop but she reacted quickly by shielding it.
"It's none of your business!"
