The first rule of visiting a girl was to bring flowers along. The second thing was to get her some chocolates. Which girl didn't like chocolates? They would literarily crawl on the floor to get a pack of one.
This was how Bryan ended up bringing a box of chocolate, a flower bouquet, a deck of cards and some fancy eye glass over to Regina's house. He stood at the door knocking and kept a smile on his face, this reminded him of a song about knocking on doors.
The door was opened almost immediately and Regina welcomed him with a generous hug and it surprised Bryan a bit but not enough to make him forget to hand over the flowers and the chocolates. Regina took them and invited him in.
It was 7:56p.m. already and the drama would begin by 8. "I thought you'd stand me up." Regina said with a smile while showing him a seat.
He sat down and smiled, "I wouldn't do that to you."
