Bernadette almost jumped off the bike in joy. She couldn't believe her eyes and she was brimming with joy and cheering loudly like never before.
Bryan had just won first place!
This was unbelievable! The Queen of the course, the Power engine, the angel of victory, the goddess of the bikes, the ruler of the night racing and the undefeated champion of the night racing had just lost to Bryan!
Bryan too couldn't believe it. He was so overjoyed that he jumped off the bike and grabbed Bernadette off it and pulled her into a tight hug while swinging her around as they celebrated their victory.
"Whoo!" he screamed with unrestrained happiness, "we did it babe!"
Bernadette high fived him, "let me get the beers for the celebration." She dashed towards the beer booth.
