She took a taxi and arrived at the clinic in less than five minutes. The clinic wasn't that far away and that was why she preferred to walk sometimes but not today.
She entered the clinic and waited for the doctor to free up her schedule. She didn't have to wait long for the doctor to attend to her. She was the one who fixed the appointment after all.
"Good day doctor!" she greeted and sat down.
"Good day miss, what's your name?" Dr Adama asked without sparing her a glance as she took out some files from her locker.
Maria frowned and wondered whether she had hit her head or something, "It's me Maria Mucker, remember? Your patient with amnesia."
The doctor glanced at her and smiled, "I have many patients who have amnesia, some of them even hysteria."
"Ah!" Maria was surprised. This doctor had always treated her with top priority but today was different. What was wrong? "I'm Maria, my brother is Frederick and my parents died some years ago and…"
