They didn't wait too long for Bernadette to arrive at the entrance with a wide smile as she said hello to the other officers.
"Check this out," Jason pointed out to Bryan in a low voice. "When she approaches us she'll greet you first before the chief."
"That's not possible, she knows better and would always greet her superior first…"
Before Bryan could finish his sentence Bernadette was already where they were standing and she jovially greeted, "Hello Bryan, morning chief…"
"Morning miss Christopher, how are you?" Bruce said in a professional tone.
"I'm fine," she was looking at Bryan all this while and he couldn't help but face palm inwardly, why did she have to do that?
"Hello Bernadette." He finally answered. She didn't wait any further and walked past them, towards the coffee area.
"See that?" Jason commented, "She greeted you first and heck, she didn't even notice me!"
Bruce patted his shoulder gently to calm him down.
