Bernadette arrived at the house and went to her room without looking around for anyone. She quickly changed into her uniform and picked her bag and slung it over her shoulder and looked at herself in the full body mirror.
Somehow the memory of how Bryan had walked into her when she was naked resurfaced again making her blush a bit. She cleared her throat and arranged her clothes a bit more before leaving the room.
She stopped when she heard a voice call out from behind her. "Mommy? Where have you been? I called you like a thousand times last night."
It was Walter. She bit her lip and turned to face him, she would have preferred to just sneak in and out without being noticed.
"Hey, Walter, I'm sorry about that." She said trying to show how sorry she was but the boy still looked annoyed. She took her phone and checked it and found that he had called over 80 times but since her phone was on silent she hadn't noticed.
