The sun shone brightly and filtered into the room and landed on her figure which was sprawled on the bed with only the blanket over her body. She groaned and opened her eyes but shut them again quickly.
She opened her eyes again slowly and gradually got used to the blinding sunlight that landed on her eyes like burning torches. She rubbed her eyes and sighed deeply; she turned her head and looked at the time on the alarm clock by the bedside.
It was 7 a.m., she must have slept late last night as that could explain why she woke up a bit later than usual. She bit her lips and pushed herself out of bed.
Her head was aching crazily and she felt pain in some parts of her body, she rubbed her forehead and threw the blanket back on the bed and grabbed her short hair and tied it back into a ponytail.
