"Are you ready?"
"Ready and good to go!"
"Wait!" Rayla said abruptly while doing some small jumps. "Let's do it this way: you'll hold the timer while I run."
Will frowned a bit and asked, "I thought we were jogging together?"
"We are, I just want you to do it that way."
"If I hold the timer while you run doesn't that mean that I don't get to run at all?"
Rayla stopped and gave him a warm smile. "The essence is to give me a five minute head start."
"Five minutes…" Will mumbled inaudibly and looked up at his mother with an 'I can't believe this' look. "Do you know what five minutes mean?"
"Of course I do, sweetheart, that's why I'm asking for only 5." Rayla explained calmly.
"You should be the one to give me a five minutes head start and not the reverse; you're older than me for goodness' sake!" Will said exasperatedly and at the same time with amusement.
"I'm older than you only by 10 years…"
