Bryan went all over the things he had put in place. Today will be fun. He didn't want to do anything else apart from playing around, watching videos, reading novels, eating popcorn while fixing the Rubik's cube.

Regina was taking a bit more time than expected to retrieve all the data of Gael Hanson and until she did, he didn't have anything else to do.

He had planned on going out with Bernadette for a race but she was not available so what better way to spend his time?

He had thought of visiting Wakeville for a day or two but cancelled that thought; he won't leave till this case was cracked!

In a blink of an eye, Bryan had finished all the popcorn. He groaned and got up to order more popcorn and possibly wine; Sapphire hotels offered such services anyway.

After calling room service, he resumed his reading.

This novel was a twisted one and he found it difficult to understand most part of it.

The female lead was an assassin who was charged with getting close to the male lead and afterwards killing him. The male lead, on the other hand, was a spy who was asked to infiltrate the assassin sect and obtain key information which would lead to their destruction.

When they met, they tried using each other to get information but realised they were both crafty. They soon fell in love with each other.

The female lead didn't want to complete her mission anymore. Unknown to her, the male lead was only faking his love since he knew who she was.

After a while, the assassins assigned another person to kill the female lead for failing in her task.

Somehow, the male lead finds out and helps to protect her. Soon, the male lead is killed. That's when the plot changed from romance to adventure.

The female lead, fuelled by anger, embarks on a journey to acquire more skills and powers that would enable her to wipe out the whole assassin sect. she then encountered a miracle that gives her superhuman strength.

After learning a lot of secrets, she takes her revenge. Afterwards, she discovered that she could find a way to reverse time.

She's sad because if she does it, she will be the only one to know what happened and the male lead would forget her.

She however decided to do it anyway just so that the male lead would live. After the time reversal, she decides to quit the assassin sect but also never got close to the male lead for fear that he'd die again…

"Uhh…is that it?" Bryan looked at the title of the book again:

"Love to the Future."

Is this pure romance or sci-fi or magical fantasy novel?

Bryan sighed and grabbed a handful of popcorn which had been delivered a long time ago.

"It has a pretty good way of making people cry; sadly I'm not that emotional." Bryan said to himself. He knew he was joking; he was the most emotional person he knew….

He dived into the movies. This time, he was watching a horror movie. After a while, his wrist watch beeped twice.

He swiped it and a coordinate appeared.

"Will? What does he want?" Bryan wondered as he looked at the coordinate. The communicator also had features like recording.

He tapped on the video icon and a small hologram appeared.

"We need to talk."

….

Will sat beside the toy shop as he waited for the detective to show up.

After a few minutes, he heard footsteps and looked around and found Bryan standing there with his hands in his pockets. He wore sun glasses today.

"You're much faster today than the last time." Will commented and stood up so that he was facing the bigger man.

"What's it this time?" Bryan asked a bit warily. The last time he had rushed over just to discover that he wanted to discuss some random things and he ended up being carried way and also got drunk with coffee….

"What's with the sun glasses?" Will pointed at the shades Bryan was wearing.

"It's used to block out sun rays during the day." Bryan seemed to be implying that Will didn't know what it was used for.

"But it's cloudy today."

Bryan looked at the sky and sighed. Why must this boy always think above his age?

He wasn't wearing the sun glasses because of the weather but as a personal security too. The sun glasses wasn't an ordinary one, he could do many things with it.

After receiving the message to meet, he had taken it along. Who knows if 'the exorcist' is stalking this boy? What if he attacked?

"Just tell me why you wanted to meet." Bryan dismissed the topic and asked. They started walking along the street.

"I will be going away for a while." Will finally informed.

Bryan had a surprised look and could only make an "oh" sound.

"My mother received a call from Mizzleport, we're going over and it might take up to two weeks or three." He explained.

"Is it related to your father?" Bryan asked as they kept walking along.

"Yeah." He nodded slightly.

"You had to tell me this?"

Bryan didn't see how it concerned him. Although he was a key witness to a serial murder case and needed to be watched and protected, he wasn't a prisoner so he could go anywhere he liked.

After all, the evidence he gave was just a pointer. Normally, the police would have placed him in protective custody in case the killer wanted to strike back but Bruce had released him.

Bryan found it bothering that this chief of police was very fond of using people as cannon fodder to get what he wanted.

His aim of letting Will go was so that through him, the police might get to the killer.

"I didn't want you to try spying on me and find out that I wasn't around. I'm afraid you'd think that I've gone to hook up with the killer."

Makes sense. Bryan nodded.

Wait…

Spy on him? How did he know he was spying on him?

This boy has some secrets…

"Very well then." Bryan didn't deny his conjecture.

"If I discover anything regarding the killer, I'll contact you." Will said.

"That's fine. Have a nice time in Mizzleport. they have great museums!"

Bryan had been there a few times to work on some cases and he knew a few places.

Will nodded and left.

Bryan sighed. He lifted his finger and tapped his eye glass and the rims lit up.
