They arrived at the night racing course earlier today and hence they didn't miss the first race. Bryan quickly went to check on the board that stood by the side. It was here that racers put down their interest to race in a particular round.
The first race still had three free spots so Bryan put down his name. He scanned the board and found that others had directly listed their names in the second, third or fourth round. It was allowed to put your name in all ten rounds as long as you could race. That's where Alexa's name came in, always number one in every round.
He went over to say hi to a few people he knew, one of them being Benson. The bald man was at the beer booth as usual and he was more cheerful today.
"What's up man? Which cat dragged you out today?" Benson asked slapping his shoulder hard.
