Bryan got off his bike and knocked on the front door. It took a while before someone opened the door for him. It was Bernadette with big round eyes.
She looked weird. She hissed when she saw that it was Bryan, she left the door open and walked back in with a sigh, "I thought we broke up?"
Bryan shrugged off his jacket and hung it up following her in. He was a bit surprised to hear her say that. "When did we break up?"
"A day ago." Bernadette replied and sat down without glancing at him, "when you took another woman on a date."
Bryan took a deep breath to supress his desire to roll his eyes, "but I thought I explained it to you…"
"Just leave." She said dryly.
Bryan smiled a bit to himself but stood still, his eyes fixed on her. She was clearly jealous and could be told by the way she was moving her body around. "We just played card tricks and then watched a movie."
