Gael relished every moment he relived his experience and the tales he was recounting to the police. It made him realise how smart he was.

"How did you manage to go from one city to another without being spotted?"

"I have many resources at my disposal. I simply walked all the way here and back."

"That's impossible; Wakeville could take you about ten days to walk here." Bruce found it absurd.

"Is it?" Gael smiled. "Well not for a determined man whose soul had been broken. That's why I would take a walk ten days before my next victim fell."

Bryan was frozen on the spot but it was all believable. He sighed and shook his head. He couldn't believe that he had been so short sighted to not notice this matter.

Josh carefully knocked on the chief's office and waited for a response before entering. He didn't want to catch the chief unawares again and wanted to give him time to put away his dolls.
