"Where are you eating today?"
"At the field."
"Don't you have somewhere else to go to?"
"I don't need another place."
"Why do you hate the cafeteria?"
Will turned to look at Hecter before saying, "you don't have to come with me. You can eat at the cafeteria if you like."
Hecter smiled, "I also don't like the cafeteria because I think Kenny and his friends will be there."
Will didn't say anything else; he kept walking alongside Hecter who kept talking about numerous things.
Ever since he had defended him against the bullies he had become his sworn brother. Will liked him but it was new to him to have a friend in this school. He still treated him a bit distantly although he felt that the boy had no ill intentions.
Hecter was good at painting and also at maths. He had planned to get him to make a painting of Elina for him but had put a hold on the thought. This Hecter was a blabber mouth after all.
