It's been weeks since I got that letter and I am still not able to accept the fact that he hasn't made his move. Also I haven't seen Stephen in all those weeks too. Tonight I am going to work in one of his most famous club "24/7" that's a wierd name for a club anyways me and the girls have been spending a lot of time together. I think they've started to like me. Zeke has been healing very well too and when no one is there to take care him mary (the maid) takes him to the park.
*At night*
Stephen: So i guess you are settling in well.
*he barged in the office was I feeling a little bad that he didn't call me by any nickname.* Melanie: Yes. This place is really beautiful. Stephen: Just like you.
Melanie: Wait are you drunk?
Stephen: No I am not.
Melanie: I can literally smell you from a mile away why did you drink so much?
Stephen: But I am not even drunk.
Melanie: C'mon let's get you home.
Stephen: But I have no home.
Melanie: What do you mean you have several home
Stephen: Haven't you heard 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠,𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧.
Melanie: What about your parents? *I asked nervously*
Stephen: They.....left me. Everyone leaves me Melanie: I am here. I would never ever leave you. Stephen: You promise?
Melanie: Of course. I have called your driver he's outside come on let's go.
Stephen: ok fine.
*We entered the car and I saw him*
Melanie: GRANNA (grandpa)
Petra: OMG! Melanie my sweet little teddy how are you and how did you end up here?
Stephen: Mi amore why is he calling you with nicknames only I can do that.
Melanie: I will tell you once you're sober. Stephen: What is he your secret boyfriend are you into grandpa's now?
Melanie: hahaha no silly. First let's get you home.
*Granna was my neighbour when I was a little girl whenever my parents fought I went to him and spent time with him. He told me after his wife died and we left to a new location he had no one so he came here to his cousins and found a job and started working for Stephen. Stephen fell asleep through the ride.
Melanie: So granna how long have you been working here?
Petra: For about 9 years.
Melanie: So you've known Stephen for long enough. So tell me how he actually is.
Petra: He is genuinely a good person but he can be worse too.
Melanie: hmm
Petra: We're here. Do you need help getting him to bed.
Melanie: No it won't be a problem. Tomorrow me and you are having a coffee date with me
Petra: Of course sweet heart. Just like the good old days.
* Whenever boys ditched me granna always helped me. He sometimes made dinner or bought flowers for me He was like my best friend. Too bad his wife died early she was just like him too* I took Stephen to bed and laid him there. He held my wrist as I was going to my room. Stephen: See you're leaving . You promised you won't leave.
Melanie: I am going to check on Zeke.
Stephen: Oh wow great now you have another boyfriend now.
Melanie: Gosh you're so drunk. Wait here and I'll bring Zeke.
Stephen: What if you don't come back?
Melanie: I promise I will
*I went in my bedroom changed clothes and took Zeke to Stephen's bedroom. He was already asleep as I was laying Zeke next to him his arm touched me a little his temperature was high. His body was so hot that you could cook tortilla. Ok it's not time to joke. I bought wet towels as soon as I can and laid them one by one on his head. I checked his temperature he had really bad fever. I called his personal doctor but he wasn't picking up the phone. I couldn't take him to the hospital because he is a gangster and if they recognise him he'll go to jail. I don't want that. All night I kept an eye on him bought wet towels. Oh you guys might be wondering where are the others. Most of them have gone on a mission and the rest of them were partying. No one was picking up the call . I swear I'll kill all of them once they get home . His temperature got low around 6 a.m in the morning so I slept next to him in a chair.
*Around 9 a.m*
Stephen: Where the hell am I?
Melanie: Oh you're awake. Feeling good? Stephen: What are you doing in my bedroom? Melanie: You don't remember anything. It's ok take a bath and come to breakfast and I'll tell you everything. If you need any help just call out my name I'll be in here ok?
Stephen: umm ohk.
*Stephen's POV*
I woke up next to Zeke and Melanie how did they get here. Why was Melanie so worried about me? I seriously don't remember what happened. I went to my bathroom and took a shower and that's when I remembered what happened last night . S-She took care of me while no one was there. She didn't sleep all night just for me. Why? Why was she so nice to me? She should hate me I'm a monster. But the fact that she took care of me made me feel something, something that I haven't felt in years.
*Melanie's POV*
As he went to take a bath I cleaned his room a little and when I heard him finishing his bathe I left the room so I could take a shower too. Zeke was still sleeping. I barely got any sleep but it was worth it he is worth everything. After taking a bath I went downstairs and saw everyone just casually sitting and talking . none of them has checked there phones yet.
Mia: Oh hey Melanie! We saw you leaving with Stephen. So how did the night go.
*I was furious and angry that none of them even tried to check up on Stephen*
