He was an inch away from her, any bit of wavering on his part or unpredicted movement on hers and he could have hit her! What an epic asshole!
Alaina was sure he'd be snickering and smirking in his seat when she stumbled from the shock of it.
Grumbling under her breath she was walking fast and by the time she had reach the campus gates, Alaina was out of breath and cursing herself to have had him stop a bit too far. Either that or she needs to hit a gym one of these days.
She made her way inside and was crossing thru the parking lot to the grassy grounds of the campus. The sun was warm and high today, thankfully no signs of that horrible storm anywhere near to coming back.
