Alaina turned to his direction and when she saw him standing there, once again the fire of fury lit up within her, making her want to hurl something at him. Something that is preferably sleek, silver and very sharp at the edges.
However, hostility would have no effect on him but only a cause of his amusement, so she ignored replying anything to him.
Alaina walked around the island and began opening up the cupboard on the right side of the stove. Whilst doing so she remembered how they were completely empty and all the food is stored in the cabinets on the left side of the stove.
But since she has already opened it half way thru and couldn't stop in the mid-opening, the door to it fell open and Alaina realized she was wrong. There were all sorts of food items stored in the same cupboard that was completely empty yesterday.
