"What happened to you, sweetie? Are you hurt? Who did this to you?" she asked her questions in her concern as soon as Alaina got to her and she grabbed her to support her weight because Alaina looked like she was about to faint any second now.
Alaina was so out of breath from all the panic and running that she couldn't even speak properly once got a hold of Mrs. Joe. She breathed hard and fast to dial down the burning sensation in her chest just enough to be able to speak a little at least. After all, she only needed to say help Ariadne, she's hurt.
"Calm down. Alaina calm yourself, first, then you can speak. Everybody please! Back away, she needs air." Mrs Joe was trying to handle a girl who looked like she would wither away into unconsciousness at any second now, and as well as the crowd of eager students who began gathering around Alaina. Some were actually concerned to know if she was okay; the rest only curious to know what was going on.
