The car parked outside wasn't the surprising fact but the person who was about to get in was. it was Ivar who was about to open the door to get in. As if sensing her eyes on him he turned his head to look at her and he instantly shut the door back up and walked to the front bonnet of the car where Alaina was making her way to.
Technically she was making her way to get in the house thru the door and his car was parked just outside of it.
He leaned over his bonnet and tilted his head, "So you finally showed up, I was about to leave."
"Why are you here?" she blurted out after being baffled by seeing him here so unexpectedly.
Once realizing how rude it came out Alaina tried backtracking her own words by asking, "I mean did you need something from me?"
