He moved forward to help me steady just as quickly he let me go, but in my attempt to salvage some of my left over dignity; I hurriedly stabilized myself without his help.
Now that I was standing on solid ground, I looked back at him with wide eyes. He's really here, how? Why?
"What are you doing here?" I asked with my mouth half open. I am having a hard time digesting his presence in my house. Maybe because I didn't see him for weeks, I foolishly thought I'd never have to again.
But still, in my house?
He didn't answer so I didn't wait long to fire another question at him.
"Answer me! How did you even get in?"
That one he answered.
"Your front door was unlocked." He shrugged at the end as if it was ok to enter any house that has an unlocked front door.
By the way, I remember closing the door and locking it. I did, didn't I?
